Just got to know that I will not be blogging so often already, even the VOGS forum, I also hardly went in...hee....but is because of different reasons.

Think some how I just lost the interest in bloggin anymore. Lazy is the big prob....haha

Anyway, will not be deleting this blog, but will not be blogging anymore, unless I'm damn bored.

New Job

I've been so busy for the past month. Mainly is due to my new found job in DORMA. Had to wake up very early at abt 6.45am and to reach office by 8am, at Gul Lane, Tuas.

Lots of stuffs had happened for the past month. Stanley's Wedding (from VOGS), Black Knights Meetup, Ladies' Meetup, PG @ Pasir Gudang, Installing DAL, Chalet @ Downtown East.

What's more to come is a weekend to Kukup, Johor, and a Mass DIY @ Woodlands the next day.

There are alot of photos that are not yet edited, so I guess it will have to wait longer before they are posted up here.....haha.....

Looking forward for the next weekend...C ya..

Pot Luck BBQ @ ILT's Place

Dwayne aka ILUVTURBO from VOGS had invited some of us to a Pot Luck BBQ at his place in Carribean at Keppel Bay. Special reason? That day, 11th March 2006, was his ROM with Cindy.

Went over to Zu-zu's place to pick her up, before going to a last min shopping for tibits, sweet corn, and some drinks. Then went to near the China sq there to buy chicken pie and cake.

By the time we reached Dwayn's place, is about 4pm. But I went to have my car washed from the tap in the carpark...heehee...free water ....opps. Then I had a quick shower, and then met Simon & Wendy at a rest & relax air-con room.

Already there were Rev and Nataley. Shortly after, Yong came.

After when most had arrived, I think we had more then enough food to feed all of our hungry stomach...haha.

We had alot of fun and laughters, and I think the best part is where Simon talks about a time when he, and 2 other partners, reservist, were chasing after a suspected guy. That reservist was blowing the whistle, chasing after the suspect, and scolding in hokkien.

Had some fun trying to clear all the cooked food which includes Satay, Otahs, Chicken wings, French Fries, cake. Played the revised version of "In-Between". For a person who bid on a number of food items and getting a safe card, the person on his/her right have to finish up the food that was bidded. But if that person who didn't get the safe card, have to eat the bidded food him/herself.

Had really a fun night, will leave you with some photos taken that day...haha...

Bangkok Aftermath

Yup yup, I'm backed from Bangkok for about 2 weeks already. Ratings for the trip? maybe about 3 out of 5.

Reached Bangkok airport at about 11plus Bangkok time, but had to wait for other passengers from the same tour agency "Forever Tours". By the time reached our hotel, "Twin Towers", I also forget what time liao.

Went to a few places to shop shop, like the weekend market, Cha Tu Chat (only managed to spend 2 hrs there, cannot stand the heat and the crowd), MBK, Platinum Plaza and a few other places.

Also met up with Jimmy twice. The first, we went to Siam Paragon to look for him and had lunch together. The second time is we went to a Chinese Resturant to have the Beijin Roasted Duck for dinner.

Didn't managed to find good car accessories shops, so brought back not much stuffs except for a new pair of slipper, and clothings.

Zu-zu was not feeling well on the 3rd night. Having fever and stomach upset. So worried about her. Then dunno why, after I came back from Bangkok, was my turn to have stomach upset, visiting toilet very frequently.

I spent most of the last nights watching TV programs. Watched Troy, King Auther, and some other movies, but miss out on Black Hawk Down.

Maybe will be going back again sometime this year, and the main location, Cha Tu Chat...heehee

Bangkok Here I Come!!

Keke...just in a few minutes' time, will be setting out on my way to Terminal One liao. Going to Bangkok for a short holiday. And guess what, this is my only second trip there, the first time was there for my Army Training.

Maybe finding Jimmy over there too as he was attached to Bangkok for his work. Hope this will be a fun and enjoyable trip loh. Am going to source for car accessories too, but dunno if can find a spoiler that I like anot (Evo 8 replica). May look for stuffs like sports pedal, visors, tail lamp, etc.

Hmm....running out of time liao...haha....

Pray for my Zu-zu and my safety okie? Thanks =)

But I think if I have the $500 voucher from my dad now, I will go and get the W810i. The look is better then the W800i, and has a Black & Orange theme....nice nice

9th VOGS Mega Meetup

Yeah...the 9th VOGS Mega Meetup @ Kallang Mac!!

It was supposed to be one hell of a meetup, and it was!!

Begin the day by going to work as usual. Planned to have lunch with Zu-zu and then wash car first before going down to the meetup.

Reached job site, saw an empty private parking lot at the back alley of our completed job site, so I just park my car in. Only to know that later, my M&E Manager parked his car paralle, almost directly infront of my car (have only half car length between mine and his)....and went to another job site for a meeting.

As time was about 12.30pm.....wanted to leave office already, then found out about it. Tried at first to shift out my car by myself, only to succeed in scratching slightly on my rear passenger door. Then no choice, called my M&E Manager, but he could only make it back to my site at around 1.45pm....WTH....

Luckily my Project Manager is still around. So with his help on a look out, just managed to squeeze my car out of the 3-wall private parking lot.

Then met Zu-zu, and then a quick washing @ a AMK MSCP. And by the time reached Kallang Mac, it's already about 3.30pm. So many chio chio rides already there, so many ppl (about 170 cars in total). Only managed to order my Polo-T, talked to a few guys, went to Moses' Larry (full of accessories) to buy the cash-card cover, and see see look look, haven't have time to take put my camera to snap, it started raining liao. Soon, everyone rush either to Mac or KFC nearby. And some left also.

When the rain subsided, group photos were taken. And the rain pours again. Went back KFC to wait for the rain to stop.

Finally, some of us went to Marina South for dinner, hmm....about 16 of us actually.

Our last stop is @ Benny's home, play MJ and tcss-ing. Yong was the big winner again on that night. Waiting for his free prata again....hahahaha....

On the eve of CNY, went to River Ang Bao with Zu-zu. Walk walk and enjoy the joyous, happy surrounding atmosphere. Bought some food and drinks and got ready to see the fireworks. But we don't know where the fireworks will be setting off from, but still, we moved our way to almost center of the Esplanade Bridge, nearer to the River Ang Bao side.

12 midnight!! And off the fireworks. Nice nice. I have taken 3 video clips of the fireworks, will find time to upload them.

29th Jan 2006 - Chinese New Year

Well, as for CNY, went back to Malaysia to visit my GrandMa. This year is quite special as we are going in with our entire family members (which includes my sister, my sister's hubby, my 2 cute nieces).

Late afternoon, went to my uncle's place. Lots of Ang Baos.....kekeke....but the Ang Baos collected from the malaysia side.....also can't let me pump 3/4 tank man....

31st Jan 2006 - Priscy's Open House

Went to pick Zu-zu up and went to Prisc's place. Great seeing some old faces there, like Eng Chye, Tingwee, Ken.

Played some Blackjack, and won some...hee.....

Later hmm....have somethings going-on....went out with Zu-zu, then night met up with some friends from VOGS for Pool session.

Actually supposed to go to Ken's place for MJ, but I guessed they all wait for me till sianz liao (they have been waiting for me since abt 10pm, and I'm only free after 1am, so paiseh).

3rd Feb 2006 - MJ Session @ Zu-zu's place

Met Zu-zu the day before and went shopping for the day's big feast.

We invited some friends from VOGS over for dinner and then MJ session.

MJ first round, lost a little. Then we all play that jinxed game -- In Between!!

Our base amount is only 50cents, but at one time, the pool amount had grown to over a hundred dollars, thanks to the Ace I kena when I called for $40, and had to pay double!! Luckily still able to get back $50 in another round.

Then after that, played Black Jack, and won back some money.

MJ session 2 also started after a break. After the MJ session 2 ended, most went home, but Alex, Zu-zu, me and a mysterious guest of Alex, went for emm...breakfast at AMK 24hrs Mac.

4th Feb 2006 - PG Toyota Free Night

Glad I took leave for today, slept till quite late.

On the way to Jurong Birdpark, saw an accident just before the right turn to Birdpark. A trailer had over turned and blocked the traffic junction. Anyway, we made a detour to the Birdpark.

On the trip down to PG, was very smooth, not much traffic. When we were all at PG, was quite surprised to see that there are also very few cars there too. Had I guess a total of close to 10 sprints. Won some lost some, and learnt a few tricks.

After PG, we went to Woodgrove for supper.

8th Feb 2006 - Changing of Rims & Tyres

Met Zu-zu, Rev, Alex, Paul, Jimmy, Benny, @ Poh Heng. Yes, it's time to change my rims & tyres. After some browsing on some catalouges, eyed the KR215 Hyper Black. And quite lucky as I had told Justin, from Poh Heng, that I wanted Bridgestone Potenza GIII Tyres, and that he only have the last 4 pcs .... Phew!!

Alex also changed his rims that day. Paul also wanted to change his, but can't decide on the rims he wanted. In the end, he's running out of time, and promissed Justin that he will be back to change on another day.

Result on the new Rims & Tyres? Good, very good!! Love it!!

Went on the my BS at night, and then went to YD to ahem....HL just a little...heehee....

Went to River Ang Bao again, this time is just to see the finale of the fireworks. And this time, chossen the correct spot to watch it, but didn't took down any video clips of it. Saw many many people with their camera stands and their SLR, waiting to catch some nice shots.

Wow.....in just alittle more then 1 day, will be the Chinese New Year, The Dog Year! How many doggies celebrating their year huh? keke....

Well well...thanks Simon for the comments...haha...yup, I'm trying to keep up with my resolution in the Year 2006. Did fulfilled some, but half of that resolution in my earlier post were just craps!

So I will fine tune it now:

What are the 10 things I hope to do/have in this 2006:
1) Attend Church Service more regularly.

2) Try to forgive one of my Bro-In-Christ. (Fulfilled!! Yeah)

3) Get my 13th Month from my company, (Fulfilled too...heh heh) and

4) Use that money to MOD my ride.

5) Try to blog at least once a week. (try only)

6) Hope can find a better paid job with brighter prospect.

7) Be a better person, be pepole-centered, more caring.

8) Be a better co-leader of my Bible Study Group.

9) Mega Meetup soon from VOGS (I wanna order the Polo-T!!!!!!!)

10) Hope that I can balance my time for God, family, friends, and loved one.

Well, many many things happened for the past week. Happy moments, sad moments, but all ends up well so far. Kinda brain-dead to recall what actually happened last week, jia lat!

Oh okie, Friday! Went on a so-called Double-date movie, "Memoirs Of a Geisha". Nice nice movie, but missed about 10mins of the movie half-way. To answer nature calling, bo bian.

Then comes Sunday, the White Angel meetup @ Kallang Mac in the afternoon. Not bad a turn out with some others joined in. There were 2 half-breed (white/black, and red/white) present at the meetup. [will find time to resize the photos again, and then post together with the NYE dinner photos...hahahaha]

The half-breed white/black ride leads the convoy formation for photo taking, but soon, it started to rain, so sianz, everyone "stucked" outside their cars.....hahahaha.

Then Monday, did my 20k servicing at ProSwift. Quite fast I guess, only collected my ride in last June. About 7 months, covered 20k liao, so by maybe Oct or Nov, might be having my 40k?? WAHHHHH!!!

Tuesday, went to People's Park to book air ticket to Bangkok. Hee...me and zu-zu planned for a short holiday on end of Feb. Not a bad package, will be staying at the Twin Tower (Hahaha...reminds me only of The Lord Of The Rings).

Pig Slaying

How was everyone doing since the New Year? Well, CNY is coming too! Hope everyone is doing fine.

Not really in a very good mood to blog, so just some simple updating on what has happened to me and some of my vogster friends in the pass weeks.

To start off, I have actually managed to fulfill point 2 of what I intended to do in 2006, to forgive a Bro-In-Christ. He was in my Bible Study Group, so naturally, will see him on Wednesday night's Bible Study. We just started talking, and soon jokes were flying around, and it was back to old times. To think back, it was quite silly and stubborn of me, but I do have every right to be angry at him for being so irresponsible, taking things for granted.

Then came Thursday, chilling out with Zu-zu outside ATTICA, the cosy chill out place by the Singapore River.

Haha, and there's Friday, when the PIG was slain. Alvin aka Shinobi aka the PIG, was celebrating his BD @ DBL-O. Alot of vogsters went and support, either to make him drunk or to protect him from being drunk.

Jack and Vincent were the first to start the 5-10 game and finished almost 2 jugs of vodka orange/7up. Then a few of us, Sean, Benny, Alex, Jimmy and I also started the game amoung ourselves. Lady luck has not been showing kindness to Sean as he drank the most, and still holds the record of drinking (losing) for 7 straight correct guesses by me (right side of the person who made the correct guess, drinks).

Then Sean decided to take a rest, and soon Jack, came and join in, purposely position himself on my left (Is he still TL that I didn't go for his BD celebration? or wanna revenge on behalf of Sean? hee). This time I time Jimmy & I drank the most...haha. Soon Dickson came, and the slaughtering of the PIG begins... ...

After awhile, went out to UE Square to fetch Zu-zu to DBL-O.

I think Jack is still not convinced and jio-ed me for another round of 5-10. Think he really want me to get drunk...haha...

Soon, the PIG was finally slain, but so does Dickson. I must admit that it was a crazy, crazy night, but fun and enjoyable. Was getting abit high already as the celebration goes on. Vincent still wants me to drink, but hated burbon coke. Told him i hated that drink and was not going to drink anymore, but yet he went to order other drinks. Had to be the "bad guy" for this time and went off with Zu-zu to get a breather outside. Then went on to have supper at Lau Pa Sat in her car. Eaten, relaxed for awhile and then went back to UE Square to get my ride, before we both were on our seperate route home.

Saturday's Sentosa was another failure again. This time, only Jimmy and Chernling came. Played my lousy frisbe, volleyball, swim for awhile, then Roy came. Chit chat awhile more before Chernling had to make a move first as he was activated by his unit, Silent Mob. Soon, we all decided to make our move. Had lunch cum dinner with Jimmy at harborfront before Alex finally called at 5pm to ask "where are we now". At that time, I was just about to start my car, heading home.

Sunday was good too. Went to Church, went back to my workplace for 15mins, went Bugis Junction, went window shopping @ the TOPMAN, shopping for a New wallet, and at night, went to the OPC meetup @ West coast Mac.....all the time with Zu-zu beside me.

Then finally it's Monday, the worst day so far since the New Year.

BTW, in my previous post, I talked about have the NYE Dinner @ Neptune. Behave, it's a Church Dinner, so no special items arranged for the diners, only special items performed by our own Church members.

The dinner was so-so only. The Shark-fin looks and tasted just like starch & glue. Anyway, it was great meeting up with old friends and other fellow Church members there.

At about 11pm, left the dinner and proceed to Labardor Park to meet some of the Vogsters to view the Fireworks. But was stuck in the traffic from Orchard till Keppel Road there. And when I was just opposite Harborfront, alrerady heard the countdown has began at the open space carpark beside Seah Imm.

When I finally reached, the Fireworks has already began. What luck! What happened next from then till I finally met up with the rest is a real messy situation.....watever....we went to Villa Bali in the end to Chill out.

End Of 2005, But New Beginning Of 2006

Yah yah....Year 2005 is ending in a mather of hours from now, and a brand new Year 2006 will be urshered in.

Will be going to the New Year's Eve Dinner from ARPC @ Neptune later at 7pm, aft er that, might or might not be going for any celebration countdown, kinda bored this year....haha...wanted to celebrate...but no one to celebrate with !!!!

Anyway, had really a fun time on the 28th Dec @ YD. VOGS had organised this YD Gift XChange on that night. The turn out was great! I think have about 40 cars that night. Some came early, and left early.....some came late and left early....and some came really late!!

Had a fun time TCSS-ing. Larry got the most interesting Gift-in-return, while I got a Photo frame.

Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year!!!

Hoped everyone had enjoyed their Christmas holidays, recieved many gifts. But for me....hmm...nothing much....very bored...only got a T-Shirt from my sister, a $30 parking fine, fever and flu for my Christmas, but not forgetting, the surprise Christmas Card & Photos from my Zu-Zu...keke

Hmm...where do I begin with?

First, gonna miss Zu-Zu for about 3 weeks. So sad, I thought this Christmas and New Year will be different! She will be flying off to HAWAII!!! OMG!! That's one of the places I'm dying to go to. Just happened that she had planned this trip months ago and had booked the ticket, and made arrangement with her friend over at hawaii. Took half day off to sent her to the airport, standing by at the glass panel till she "disappeared" at the departural hall... ...anyway....will see her again on the 7th Jan!!

I thought time flies with the blink of the eye?? kekekek

Then...it's Prisc's Birthday celebration on the 21st December. Went to watch "Crazy Horse Paris" with her and her parents. Not cheap, the tickets, cost me a damn $87. The show was about 1 and half hours, and the show, only a few dances are nice, or I do not have the art to enjoy the dance moves.

After that, we intended to go MoS to celebrate Prisc's BD, but the queue is really very very long by the time the shows ends at about 11plus. So we switched to Dbl-O. Present were, Key & her BF, Lesile & her BF, Carol, Val and Chris. Prisc: So paiseh that I didn't get any BD & Christmas Gifts for you this year!

Then on Christmas Day, went Marina South to have steamboat and bowling with some vogsters. Was down with flu and fever, but still went down to meet them. At first, only wanted to drink, but when Firefly went to play drums in the arcade, I took over his place to eat...hahaha....hack care the fever!!

After the dinner, proceed to play bowling, had a total of 3 games. Quite fun....suddenly all become on form when talking about the least scores will have to treat drinks....hahaha....

After bowling, we all proceed to opposite the ST Building, that prata shop to have supper.

The next day, body ache, fever still there, the flu still there, and morning still have to wake up early at 10.30am to bring my 2 cute niece to MacDonald's to eat breakfast. After that is take medicine...sleep....take medicine...sleep....so sianz

Went to work today, still feeling abit headache, but after lunch time, told my colleague that I going off to see doc. But in the end, went to Ubi to collect some stuffs from a friend....then off to buy YD Christmas Gift, then back home to rest....

PG Johore Circuit - Saturday Night Sprint

Wow...yup...it's about 3.30am in the morning now. Just got home, bath and airing my hair to dry before sleep till the afternoon...haha...

Well, the PG... ...something very unexpected happened!!!

First, the convoy left me behind!!! Haha okie, it's partly my fault. Was supposed to meet at the Jurong Bird Park carpark at about 8.45pm. But I slept till about 8pm, then rush my way down to S.G. to pick up Angelia, then put all the barang barand in my boot to hers, then rush down to Bird Park. Called Jimmy 339 that we will be late. Reached the carpark at about 9.30pm... ...and no one is around!! But luckly, they just left about 5minutes ago. Rushed down to the Tuas Checkpoint, and there's a jam there. After waiting and cutting some lanes, managed to spot Jimmy 339's "Viper" ride, a few cars infront of us in another lane...heehee...did finally meet up with the rest at the Petrol Station after the Malaysia Toll. Did some shopping at the petrol station, and moved off to our destination. A total of 16 cars in the convoy....not easy to manage....and the newbies... all without walkie talkie!!

During the journey, nothing much happened till we reached a road (near the johore carrefour) where we should enter a tunnel, but instead, the tunnel was blocked for some dunno what construction, and the roads were diverted. This was the second surprise we had. There were chaos all around and the convoy was already broken into "pieces"!! Managed to stick with Dickson, Jimmy 339, and then Alex and "Pigwoof" was behind me. Lots and lots of confusion, but still we managed to find our way. But this little convoy was broken again, which left me, Alex and "Pigwoof". We holland for awhile before we finally managed to enter the PG circuit. AT LAST!!! And the time was already about 12.30am.

As from the beginning, we had 16 cars, but when counted again in PG, only 12!! 4 cars had went holland!! But after awhile, one of the holland-ed car managed to find his way to the PG circuit. The thrid surprise was that, there were only a few cars in the circuit. Maybe the most 30, not much queuing was needed. Did about 4 sprint in that short period of time. Conclusion is, my launching still sucks....hahaha

After the races, we all gathered and the convoy leaders (Jordan and Dickson) apologised to all of us for the unpleasent trip, but no one was to be blamed, as even they also abit lost, due to the road diversion. Then we all move off for our final destination, back home to Singapore! And the last surprise... ... the Woodlands Causeway was smooth traffic all the way, not like the last time where it was jammed packed.

So cleared the custom, send Angelia back, transfer back all my barang barang, back home, bath, and now typing this blog. Sharks, too me almost 30minutes to write this few lines. Gotta go sleep liao, if not, can really sleep till late afternoon or even evening liao....hahaha

Busy Busy is all I can say. Full of activities for the past few weeks that when I'm home, it's either 1am or 2am, so, where do I have the time to blog? keke

3 major events for the past few weeks are the VOGS mini meetup of 1) KBox Singing Session, 2) Sentosa Fun 3) PG Saturday Night Sprint (which is tonight!! haha)

Other then that, Also been to Kenway's house to celebrate his son, Joel's, first full month.

And of coz, in between, I'm leaving my singlehood behind...keke

KBOX Singing Session @ Suntec 3rd Dec 2005

Alex (Firefly), Larry, Angelia (Sam), Hendry, Niko, Jimmy (AKK339) and myself went for this VOGS outing. It's quite sometime since I had a singing session already, and btw, I don't sing much and had long lost track of the Chinese Top 20s. So all my songs were either super old timer or English songs.

Also finally witness the mysetry of the "opening/closing" of the window in one of the MTV, Wu Yi Liang Ping's Zhang Xin. It's kinda weird and it happened in broad daylight!!

Had so much fun during the 5hr session from 2pm till 7pm. Also seen afew "ah guas" singing....hahaha....as in the guys singing in female tones for some of the songs, damn funny. Had the videos of Larry, Alex & Hendry singing the "One Night In Beijing".

After the Singing session, we proceed to Pool Fusion for some games of pool, where Eddie, Jordi, Jackson & Serene and some others came down to join us. Think we played till slightly past midnight before we all left for home. Tired... ... ...

Supposed to have a outing, but have to cancel last minute as there's not much people coming (have quite a few last min pull out coz of work commitment, and a few others coz of some other reasons)

This night, Monday night, some members from VOGS had planned for a dinner outing @ Chomp Chomp, but little we know that, it's not open on Monday??!!?!?!??!?!?!

Never-the-less, those who had confirmed their present, mostly came, and the turn-out was very good. Some of them who are not in the name list, turned up and "surprised" us...haha...and some, due to work commitment, can't join us. In the end, we stil have about 16 members who came.

Simon, Wenndee, Firefly, Sam and me are those who came the earliest, and slowly, more and more came to the main entrance of chomp chomp at about 6.40pm. We decided to inform the rest who are in the name list (er...dun be mistaken that we only invite a few ppl, this was a open invitation to all members in the forum, and those who can commit, will put their names in a list mah) who are not here yet, on the changes we had made ie to have dinner at the food court just beside the Shell Station.

We managed to find some seats, but had to borrow a few chairs from the stalls in the end. We had satay, otah, stingray, hokkien prawn mee and chicken wings. We stayed on to have a little TCSS session before we all left for Coffee Bean for another round of TCSS.

Not bad loh, we had a great time eating, TCSS, and digging out secrets....hahaha....enjoyable night. =)

Well well, I guess some of u guys might be thinking what do I meant by "To that someone, I hope you can forgive me, comes friday evening... ... ..." right? in my previous previous post...kekeke...the answer is as my post title =)

Then on Saturday, we went to Wala Wala again, to listen to The Unxpected Band, again. But this time, yes, Shirlyn was backed! We ordered the Wala Pizza, and it's wow!

Full of ingredients, like sausage, ham, pineapple, green chilli, etc etc.

I enjoyed that night very much, coz so happy to listen to those songs that were played that night! Lots of heavy stuffs, which can just blow off ur mind.

Have to thank that someone who accompany me through out the 3 segment of the gig. I know that we may not like that kind of heavy metal songs that TUB plays, but still stayed. =)

Uncle Kenneth Khoo's Wedding

Haha...waited for about 8 days before I finally managed to upload some photos of that day...keke...so now can finally blog something about it liao =p

Woke up by my alarm clock and Prisc's morning call at about 6.30am in the morning. I'm appointed to be the wedding car driver for the day, so have to wake up early, dress smartly, and prepare to fetch Uncle Kenneth and his bride.

Got ready at about 7.15am (coz after the morning call, still lay flat on my bed till about close to 7am...heehee), and headed off to Uncle Kenneth's place.

First task, to fetch Prisc to OCC, get the wedding car, then send the photographer, also one of her relative, to the Bride's place in Bukit Panjang. The wedding car, is a 2.2litre Opel, forgotten which model liao, but not very comfortable driving it for the first time. The pick up is ok, interior roomy, but breaking alittle not used to it (have a long breaking compared to my Vios...heehee...).

Second task, rush back to Uncle Kenneth's place, to fetch him, together with 2 "Brothers" cars, backed to BP to fetch the Bride.

Third task, send both the Bride and Groom, backed to the Groom's place for tea ceremoney part 1.

Forth task, send both of them to the Bride's place for tea ceremoney part 2.

Fifth task, to send both again, finally to OCC, and that's about 2plus in the afternoon already....zzzzz

After that, drove the wedding car to pump petrol and then back home to rest till the early evening. And for the final task, is to go to BP, and fetch the Bride's family to OCC.

And that night, confirmed something liao, is that Rayomond is now attached!! And his GF is from our Bisble Study Group!!...haha....yet he still wanna deny it even when we found photos of them acting cute in his hp....hahahaha.....and Tingwee actually saw them together holding hands, snapped a photo of them, and mms to me (and to the rest -- the rest is who? I dunno liao....hahaha).

The dinner is good, had quite a good night chatting with old friends. Later after the wedding dinner, went to Yishun Dam to eat ice-cream...hahaha....but what a night!!!

Can't sleep tonight.

Many things are going thru my mind now, and yes, it's 2am in the morning. Could it be the nap I took in the late evening that kept me awake till now? It could be, but this nap had caused me to miss an appointment, and that has kept my mind fully occupied.

The Appointment

Had arranged an appointment with someone at 9.30pm @ Serangoon Garden, near Chomp Chomp. Was supposed to have an enjoyable recee time to a icecream shop there. After that, then there's a Car Washing gathering with my VOGS friends at about 10.45pm. Was very happy that she can make it as she was meeting her friends earlier in the evening.

Got off work at about 5plus, and headed home....

The Nap

Reached home, had dinner, and felt a little tired, so decided to take a short nap from 7pm till 9pm, before going to meet her. And the next thing I know when I woke up is, it's already 9.45pm! What a stupid pig I had become! Totally disappointed with myself.

I know she's angry with me, and I know it's my fault...

I wanted to go over to her place, but she said no...

In the end, I didn't go, and yet went on to wash my car... ... ...

Please, someone, take me out and shoot me! I just didn't get the hint at all, call me stupid, blurr or what ever you can think of. I admit that I'm slow in my thoughts at times, esp dealing with this kind of stuffs.

Oh man, how powerful can a harmeless looking nap has landed me into this situation.

I don't dare to think any further, and I know when I close my eyes when I lay on my bed later, my brain will still be quite fully awake.

To that someone, I hope you can forgive me, comes friday evening... ... ...

Wala Wala On 19/11/2005

Yes! It has been a while since last go to Wala Wala @ Holland Village. This time will be going with my VOGS kakis.

Had planned this for quite sometime in the forum, and finally, that day has come! Has reminded everyone to be early, if not, hard to get seats. Dun wanna be like what happen during my Birthday, standing all the way thru-out the 5 hrs.

Sam aka Angelia, was the earliest that night, again, and next was Jimmy339, and they proceed to the 2nd level, while I was slightly late, due to heavy rain in Woodlands, and was up to join the 2 of them by about 7.45pm. The place was still quite empty, and that's better then it's FULL...kekeke....

We ordered Wala's Cheeze & Ham Pizza, Chicken wings, and other finger food, and yes, that's our dinner. Soon the crowd starts to come in slowly, and by the time, 8.45pm, most seats were already occupied, and Alex aka Firefly had already joined us. We reserved 2 seats for the "late comers".

That night, The Unxpected Band was performing, but the lead singer, Shirlyn was sick, and Darren replaced her as the lead. I'm kinda disappointed loh, but anyway, will see how good his vocal was...hee...

Dazzzo was the next to come, while Benny, Rev, Vessel & GF were on their way to Wala too. Vessel was the first of the "late comers" to reach, and there's already a queue of about 10 other ppl infront of him, waiting to be permitted inside. Coz now, Wala has this, hmm, rule that the head count is only limited to 120, so if the head count is reached, they will stop ppl from coming up, unless some others had left. Rev was next to come, but he was so pissed with the long queue and he decided to leave (so paiseh leh). We actually talked to the manager that we already have extra seats for my friends, yet the manager just dun give in to allow any or them up. Last to come was Benny, he was also on the blink of leaving while we think of a Plan B.

So I went down to meet Vessel & GF, and Benny to discuss on the Plan B. Clark Quay was the Plan B, and when I'm about to go back up stairs, the good news came...haha....some ppl actually had left, and the 3 of them were granted entry.

We stay throughout their 3 segments of "Live" Performing. After that, Alex, Dazzzo, Sam, and me went to the famous prata eating place behind NUS for supper, and then go home.

But what a night for me!! (only a few people will know...kekeke...very very the lucky)

VOGS Anniversary Lunch

Wow...this is a long awaited post...kekeke...long over due liao

The VOGS Anniversary Lunch was held on the 23rd OCT @ Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel. That was a great event organised by the District ICs and the Forum Moderators. All the members starts to arrive at about noon. And we had a V-Cool gift pack plus some other stuffs at the door while doing the registry.

The VOGS Photography Contest Final Round of voting was held in the ballroom too, heh heh, and mine is in one of the few final selection.

When all arrived, the founder of the fourm, Jame aka theffman, gave the opening speech, and then a nice photo presentation of the growth in VOGS thru the years.

Then is the start of the buffet a-la carte lunch, yum yum. The dishes are really tasty, had about 3 servings....hahaha....at about 3plus or so, we started the TP Safety Talk, by Raymond, who is from the TP Safety Department. He is the special guest for that day. And od coz, not forgetting the other "special guest", Jackson & Serene.

After the TP Safety Talk, finally came the Lucky Draw!!!!!!! There are free Polo-Ts, Vouchers, Strut Bars, Tyres and the first prize, a Sports Seat!!! Well, not too bad, did managed to win a Polo-T, but lost out in the VOGS Photography Contest.

After the Lunch, afew of us, Jack, Edmund, Alex aka Firefly, went to Fort Road Heavy Vech Carpark. Edmund had jio some members for a mini ICE Meetup there, while me, Jack and Alex, and busy sticking the VOGS Road Tax Decal on our windscreen.

Finally called it a day and headed home at about 7pm....haha....but really enjoyed that day =)

VOGS BLACK KNIGHTS Mini Meetup

Took some time before going out to blog this....haha....now can't say I'm lazy liao..hiak hiak

VOGS BLACK KNIGHTS Mini Meetup, held at the Kallang Mac on the 4th November.

Because of the recent days of holidays, and no such ever meetup before, some of us (Black Knights - Black Vios) decided to have a small gathering @ the Kallang Mac.

The turn out was ok, about 10 black rides came, along with other members who came to share the fun together. Dickson aka FusionNos, was there to sell the Black Knight decal to those who own the black rides. He also helped some newbies and others with the black touch up paint on minor scratches of the bodykit.

Moses was there too, as usual, doing his business, selling good "Lobangs" to the bros present there.

As there are no official photographers for this meetup, and since I'm one of the more photo taking freak around, managed to snap some group photos.

Yoz yoz...watsup!! I know I know...I have been M.I.A for quite a long time. So many things had happened for that period of M.I.A. But I guessed that I had forgotten most of the happenings, and only a few that are fresh in my mind, like the VOGS Annivesary Lunch and the recent VOGS Black Knights Mini Meetup. Lots of lots to be viewed...hahaha

So now, just to let you all "gian gian" abit.....

Sometime I just wonder how some ppl can write so many things everyday, blogging in their blogs?????? Okie sorry, I'm just plain lazy...heehee....so stay tune hor

Rainy Sunday, and still raining!!!!

Can't believe that it's still raining as I'm typing this post!

What a day! Full of rain! Feeling so "nua" for the whole day. Wanted to do a little polishing for my car also cannot....hai~~~~~

Has been thinking for awhile....someone did told me that since I have my beloved Vios, almost everything is about my car...hmm

Well, to think back, it's mostly true =p

Has been modifying the exterior of my car every month. Some of the lastest are the Yellow tinted Fog lamps, and the "vvt-i" emblem in the 3rd brake light, and since yesterday, is the masking of the side of the TRD Tail Lamp.

And since I had my car, it seems that most nights I'm not really that free anymore. Always activity after activity. So far now, after my RT, Wednesday night is my Bible Study night liao, and Friday evening is the weekly Basketball game. The rest of the weeknight are actually free liao. Sometimes had some sudden mini meetups for carwash or visiting JB for fuel.

Gotta re planned my time schedule and putting piority to some things liao.....had been missing Church for a long time too... ..... ............

Tiring Saturday

Slept only for a few hours and had to get up for work, super tired.

Finished work at about 1pm and went down to a Spray-Paint workshop at Eunos Ave 3 to meet up with Jack. Wanted to touch up on my TRD black based Tail Light. Forgot to take the before & after pics, but will post some pics when got time to do it.

Jack was there too as he was respraying part of his car. We left our cars at the workshop, had lunch at the Singpost building's Mac. Then headed down to HMV. Bought a Drum & Bass CD, "Pendulum - Hold Your Colour". The album was played in the HMV section, and after listening for a while, it seems not a bad album. And since it's been quite a while I haven't had any D&B album, decided to buy it.

Headed back to the workshop at about 6plus, chatted with the owner, Gary (who is a member in VOGS too). Jack and I even had out carwash at his workshop....hahaha....managed to tcss till abt 9pm and then head home.

Initially wanted to come out and watch soccer match between Liverpool and Blackburn, but was watching at home instead. Finally Liverpool won against Blackburn to register their only second win of the season. It's quite a hard fought victory, and a important one.

Basketball & Pool on 14th October

Friday's Basketball turn out is one of the strongest since I started to join them playing in Bishan. Think about 14 of us turned up for the weekly game.

The first game was very tiring 4 on 4s. The opposite team consist of Edmund (very tall), Eric (super tall and fast), Larry (ball controll and gd rebounder) and Jason (another ball controller). But heh heh, our team consist of me, Wilson (3 point shooter), Porky (shooter), and Randy (rebounder). To score against the tall team in the red zone is tough, so we managed to out shoot them at the 3 point zone and managed to socre some shots in the red zone.

We played till about 9pm and the carpark attendent came, and almost all of us rush back to our cars and either put parking coupons and for those who parked in the season carpark lot, shifted to those public lots.

Larry and I left at about 9.30pm, and get ourselves ready to meet other members @ Bukit Timah Plaza for pool session.

Met a few newbies from the west side, and had some good pool games. Larry, Jordi and I was hungry and went for supper first. Went to the Al-Ameen opposite Bukit Timah Shooping Centre. And was "carrot" into ordering the "Naan". It's super expensive loh. We ordered 3 "Naan" of different flavours and 3 plain "Naan", and then one chill-fried fish. And guess how much in total? a freaking $40!!!!!!

After our "carrot-ed" supper, went back for more pool games till abt 1am plus. We all headed on our seprated ways home, but I decided to went to JB for fuel instead. Reached home at abt 3am....wahh...super tired!!

Bowling On 12th Oct

Sent our mass sms and posted in the VOGS fourm, to arrange dinner before heading to Marina's Victor Bowl.

The turn out for dinner was good, Jordi, Sam, Firefly, Larry, Benny, Jimmy339 came. We met at the Seah Im Hawker opposite Harbour Front.

Proceed to Marina at about 8pm, and we were the first to reach there (coz another group of VOGS members are coming too). The other group came shortly after, Sean, Dickson, Alvin, Wilson, Jack, Desmond, Natalay.

In short, I had an avg game untill the last game. Managed to hit strikes in the first 2 frames, spare the next, but open frame for the next 5, then records a turkey and missed out on the last strike.

Lots of jokes and remakes were made during the games...

Subaru Challenge 2006

The Subaru Challenge Is BACK!!!!

This time is a team challenge, which need you and a partner to win the 2 Subaru Impreza 1.6TS.

Managed to call in today!! Called in, given the detail particulars on me and my partner, and then know that I can't change the partner!! Initially, Prisc had already agreed to partner me in the Challenge on the 5th November, and that's why I had submitted her details liao, but she has her last exam paper on the 8th Nov!!

So now, either I have to find another partner, and to call in again; or we both just go there on the 5th Nov, see really heng anot to pick the lucky number and place our hands on the Impreza. Coz if not lucky enough to pick the lucky number, she can still enjoy the afternoon, and go back to study later mah....hahaha

YES!!! Finally it's over!

One month of RT was over, and I passed the IPPT Test on the 8th Session, and will be just alittle bit richer in the bank account. Managed to clear the 2.4km run by a few seconds...hahaha

After that, went home, bath, and proceed to the Yishun Dam Meetup with the VOGS Members.

Then Raymond called me at about 11pm, and told me he and the rest are going to Woodgrove for kopi. Told him I'm at the Yishun Dam, and will call him when I'm coming over to meet them.

We TCSS at YD till about 1130pm, and the rest head to Jalan Kayu for supper, while I made my way to Woodgrove. I msged Raymond that I'm going over, but got no reply from him. Anyway, just proceed on my way there.

When reached Woodgrove, didn't see anyone, so called Raymond, but no one answers. After awhile, got his msg, and they are not coming to la kopi. Got the feeling like been played out, but what to do? At least he could have tell me they are not coming when they had decided and not to assume that I will not be joining them for kopi mah.

Anyway, had my own supper there, and then proceed to JB for my weekly visit to their petrol station...heehee...

Johor Circuit Pasir Gudang

Finally!! The day has come!! Will be going to Pasir Gudang Johor Circuit for the 2nd time, and this time, will let my ride do alittle sprint.

The first time, I went in with Prisc, and we were spectators for the whole 2 hrs of the Nite Sprint. That's was really bore, only fun watching for the first 15 minutes or so. But this time, I'm gonna let myself a test, to see what can my ride do.

Originally, on the 1st October, should be a toyota free night, which means, all toyota car makes can enter and race for free. But dunno why, it was change to other car makes. And since we, the VOGS Members had already planned for the event for a month, we decided to go ahead and go for the sprint, just need to pay RM20 will we decided to enter the sprint, if not, just go there for an experience, like what I did on my first trip there.

We all met at Jurong Birdpark carpark at abt 9pm. Had some briefing and we break overselves into about 3 groups and leave for PG seprately. I joined the newbies group as I wanna be fimilalised with the route there, before I want to join the other groups in a OTOT method. Bay requested me to be the last man of the newbie convoy since I went up with him on my first trip. Yup, no prob, covoy dun break can liao, and I can also test my yellow-tinted fog light.

This time, the newbie convoy was good, no break off like the last time, and we all reached PG safely. Went to register myself for the sprint and paid RM20, got a stamp on my right hand, and a Number 110 tag to be pasted on the car.

Had a total of 5 sprint, coz that night was really a very jam packed night. Even lancers club came down aith about 30 cars, not to say of other car makes like Nissian, Subaru and so on.

First Sprint:
With Jimmy aka Jimmy339 - Lost.

This is the orientation sprint accompanied by Jimmy, as I'm not sure of the launching method, and the route back to the starting line after the sprint.

When it's our turn, both of us postioned our car at the start line, and start rev on our engine to get ready for the launching. I was also trying to figure out where is the signal light for the start. Finally managed to spot it when the amber light is gone and the green light has lit.

Threw my clutch and jam on the accelerator! Wheel spin! Lost to Jimmy by about 1 car length I think, can't really remember. It was fast, just a few seconds to cover the 300meter sprint track.

And we headed back to look for other members to partner for the sprint.

Second Sprint:
With Paul - Won.

Jimmy339 lead him for an orientation sprint before the newbie convoy arrives, and this is his 2nd sprint of the night.

This time, alittle more experienced liao....haha...Do not rev too much when the signal turns green (coz will have wheel spin). Roughly knows when to change gear. The most will shift till 3rd gear, and the speed of about 110 to 120km/h before the sprint is over.

This time I won, heehee, very trilled...hee...but also learnt another mistake. That is, do not wind down the window fully! will slow down the car! and smell the burning rubber of the tyres.

Third Sprint:
With Jordan aka Vios21 - Lost.

Only with all the little experince learnt just by the 2 sprint, will never be enough to win him. Some more mine is a stock car, while his, sports rim and tyres, etc. But all race for the fun.

End up lost to him by I think 2 or more car lengths!!

Forth Sprint:
With Swish - Won.

He's also sprinting for the first time that night. Our race was tight, but managed to win him by about half car length...hee...phew. But I think we should be on par as he has a passenger.

Fifth Sprint:
With Swish's Passenger Friend - Won.

We headed back to the queue, and was running out of time and running out of MT cars to "jio". At first, intend to race with paul again, since it will be the last sprint for us of the night (almost 1am liao). Then swish and his friend swap places on the driving seat, and "jio-ed" him for a race, while Paul raced with Jordan.

After PG, some of us went for supper in JB till about 3plus before heading back (was told by other members that there's big jam at the Woodlands Custom). By the time reached home, already 4plus liao.

Haha...lazy plus no time to blog again. almost everyday will be home late, and sometimes very late, hence couldn't find time to blog so often since I'm not be able to blog at office liao *sad sad*

Friday 23rd September

Nokia Starlight Cinema - Initial D
Yup, had seen the movie months ago, but since I have the free invites to one of the movies showing at the Padang, so why not just go catch one of the movies. Chose Initial D as the other movies, I'm not free to go watch, plus Prisc and her friends also cannot make it. So decided on watching on friday. Initially wanna invite Lim Chia too, coz I'm allowded to bring another friend for the movie, but she had project commitment and couldn't come.

I met Prisc on Thursday night for supper, and collected 3 pillows from her, for the necessary comfort to watch at the Padang. Also went to her new home (under the block only lah).

So on Friday night, met up with Prisc, Key, Kenneth and Kelvin @ Padang. This time, I had Buger King's Mushroom Swiss for my dinner. And we were sitting on the very first "row"....not center....but alittle to the right side of the screen.

This time is well prepared, with ground sheet and a cushion mat, plus Prisc's pillow....haha.....and guess what? We end up didn't just sit on the ground, but, lying down, with the pillow supporting our heads, tilted towards the screen....very comfortable....hee

Well, it's still very enjoyable watching the movie again, not because of Jay Chou, but of the drifting and those super funny moments in the movie.

Saturday 24th September

Nothing much, had my 5th RT Session. The training routine is the same again as the 4th Session. Very tiring, and the sun is super bright and shinny. After RT session, went home and watch the match between Liverpool and Birmingham. Quite a dull first half, but saw 4 goals in the 2nd half in the 2-2 draw.

Sunday 25th September

Jack jio-ed me to help play for his soccer team in a friendly match. Been quite awhile since last played in a full size soccer field. And actually, I do have another game in the early morning, with the "old man" team @ St. Wilfred. In the end, decided to help Jack with his team. He told me alot of his players cannot play, so just help him out loh. Finally have chance to play upfront as a second striker.

But it's a pity that Jack's team lost 0-2, and the opposite team scored 2 very lucky goals, and we were unlucky not to score too (not my fault hor).

Monday 26th September

Finally decided to have my fog lamp fixed. So went down to Autosaver @ the Kaki Bukit Branch to install. But seems like Monday is quite an unlucky day for me.

First, had a ISO course in the morning at Geylang West CC, and forgotten to take my fog lamp from home. Nvm, so after the course, went back home to take them, then had lunch, and go back to work.

Second, just nice on my way out of Sentosa, heard Class 95 was giving away their Class 95 Car Decal and Singtel free gifts @ Dempsey Road carpark. So I just detour abit to collect the gifts, only to know that the PIE towards Changi, was having a massive jam. So I will have to think of another route to go to Kaki Bukit from Dempsey Road.

Called the Manager of Autosaver, Bobby, and told him that I will be late, and luckyly that he told me that his colleagues will wait for me. Their closing time is 8pm, and they will need roughly about 30minsutes to an hour to fix the fog lamp. In the end, cause of the jams, I arrived at about 7.45pm!!!

And very "heng"....they still wait for me, and no angers was shown...hee...and they are very friendly, and helped me install the fog lamp.

Third, it's only when installing the fog lamps, then we found out that there are 4 nuts missing (coz I bought the fog lamps, a 2nd hand fog lamp, from someone). One of the mechanic tried very hard, only to find 2 suitable nuts to secure the fog lamps, one nut for each lamp. So I have to go source for it.

Fourth, the light switch which I bought, can't be used, so have to use back the one provided with the wirings...sianz....

When everythings done, it's about 9pm. I have to head back to Woodlands, and meet up with Eric, who will be doing the yellow tinting for the fog lamp. Some other VOGS members also came. Coz Eric is the specialist of have custom made stickers, sunshade, and tinting services. After some TCSS and info sharing, it's already 11plus, and super tired.

Tuesday 27th September

Met up with fellow VOGS members to go JB for fuel (Taz, Jack, Jackson, Jordi, Desmond, Benny and Jack). Had super "fun" trip on the journey towards the custom, and inside the custom.....haha....we separated into 2 different groups since some of us preferred on different petrol station to have their fuel top-up.

After that, we went back to Woodgrove to have some TCSS and drinks.

Wednesday 28th September

Took half-day leave to go for my dental appointment, to refill on 2 of my tooth. Now feels abit wierd, as I think the dentist had filled too much on my tooth, that when i close my mouth and bite on my teeth, one side is like still "floating".

Had my 6th RT Session, wow fast, Saturday will be the last training before the test on next Wedensday. Will try not to stress myself on the 7th Session, somemore, will still be going in to PG after the RT to have some drag race fun.

YD TCSS

Had a TCSS meetup with the VOGS Members on wed night, at Yishun Dam, after my 4th RT Session. The RT 4th Session is almost the same as the 3rd Session, having interval training on sprinting of about 200meters. The catch is to run 10 times. Each run plus resting is only 3 minutes. So the faster you complete the 200meters, you will have more time to rest until the next cycle starts. After that is specific training on the upper limbs, lower limbs and the abdomal muscles.

The Session ended at about close to 9pm, did a quick bath at the showers and headed to the Bukit Timah Market for some quick bite before heading to YD.

Reached there at abt 9.45pm, but only saw some members there, all newbies. And as time drag on, more and more members came. Quite a good mix of oldbies and newbies there. We all had great sharings, laughters that night. And I guess I have to keep a low profile in the VOGS Forum liao, coz I have clocked 2400+ post in just 6 months, and those shit stirers and targeting me to be IC for the YD. Haha...too bad lah. I'm only able to go to the meetup coz of the RT, if not, I will be at Alan's place, having Bible Study at that timing.

But really this is the best YD meetup I have attended so far (out of emm...3 times??...hahaha).

After meeting up at YD, Jack and Taz went JB for some "supper" for our rides. Just some minor jams at the Woodlands custom, and for the first time, kena check on the fuel meter, but the officer, after taking a long look, then wave to move on.

Currently using another PC to blog as the PC I'm using to do all my autocad drawing can't access to my blog, I also dunno why. Everytime tried to access to my blog, will hang and not responding. But when i access to other ppl's blog...no prob....hai~~~ think gonna change the skin liao...but where got the time leh? unless some kind soul can help me with it.

Boss not around this afternoon, and no drawings to update, hence got the chance to do some blogging here, if not, will be busy amending on the drawings. Cold cold in the office now. Just had a super heavy rain. The only thing missing in my office now is a bed and a pillow LOL

Madagascar

Went to watch the movie "Madagascar" with Lim Chia on Monday Night at the Nokia Starlight Cinema @ Padang. The movie was quite funny and enjoyed watching it. And I finally bought more of the tulip flowers in support for the Children Cancer Foundation. You will have to be early if wanna park just beside the padang, if not, I think park at Funan Center will be the cheapest, $2 nia, for about 2 hrs.

Sitting at Padang, also have to be early if wanna have good views. We settled on some open space on the left of the big wide screen. The ground was quite hard too, at least for me....haha...my butt sufers alittle, sitting on the hard ground. But now, at least I will know what to bring along when going for the next movie there.

As Prisc and I have the free invites for one of the movie, but it's not for the special screening of "The Skeleton Key". So we now only have the choice of "The Island" (which is today, and Prisc have BS to go to while I have my RT 4th session), Hitch, Shutter, and Initial D. Not gonna watch Harrys Potter anyway. So likely will be watching Initial D again, on a Friday. That also means I can't go for my usual basketball game on Friday evening.

Nokia Starlight Cinema @ Padang

Recieved a mail from the JUICE mailing list.

It's a free invite to one of the shows. Just need to fill in some particulars from the email, print it out, and showed it at the entrance.

The event starts from 15th September 2005 till 25th September 2005. Many nice movies are showing then, like "Mr. & Mrs. Smith", "Madacasgar", "The Island", "Shutter", "Hitch", "Initial D", & "The Skeleton Key".

Had planned to watch "Madacasgar" with Lim Chia on the 19th September, also the chance to get more tulip flowers (The support for the Children's Cancer Foundation). The entrance is free, but the tulips will be selling at the entrance, sort of the donation cum movie ticket.

Also discussed with Prisc, as she too, had subscribed to the JUICE mailing list, so she will have the free invites too. Still deciding, on who to jio, but will be watching "The Skeleton Key" on the very last day of the event. Thinking of either watching "Batman Begins" or "Fantastic 4", but the movie ticket is $15 per person. But if you have dressed up as any character in any of the 2 movies, you get free admission. Anyway, still have time to think about it.

Today will leave work early to prepare for my RT Session 2 @ Maju Camp. After today, will have only 5 more sessions before the IPPT test on the 8th session. Hope really can improve on my 2.4km run, and get my target of at least an incentive and get out of the RT Phase 1.

Anyway, back to work liao!! heehee....

Tottenham 0-0 Liverpool

Saturday 10th Sep is the start of my RT Session. Took a quick nap at home after work, before heading down to Maju Camp for the session. As usual, the first session is just the standard briefing to all those taking the RT Phase 1. Phase 1 consisit of 8 sessions, with a test on the 8th session. If pass that test, no need to continue the RT, and inclusive of the incentives for passing the test.

So for at least one month, I'm not be able to join the Bible Study and Church Services as my RT sessions falls on both days (Wed evening and Sat late afternoon).

Coming Wed will be my 2nd session, hope everything goes smoothly.

After the RT session, went back home, rested. Then meet up with some VOGS Members (Ben, Jordi, Jack, Wee, Rev, Jimmy339) in AMK to watch soccer. Intended in to watch the live match between Tottenham and Liverpool. But ended up, the kopi tiam only showing the match between Man Utd and Man City. And so we spent most of our time chatting. We left at about 1am, and took a look at Wee's me bodykit on his ride. Guess what? in the end, we stood around our rides and chatted again, discussing and commenting on each other's ride. We spent almost another hr chatting there before we all finally made a move home.

Mdm Wong

Friday evening after the usual Basketball game with fellow VOGS Members, went down to Mdm Wong with another bunch of VOGS Members. Quite awhile since I last club! haha...

But well, reached Mdm Wong at abt 11.30pm, and waited for the rest to come, and then enter by 12mn. Only been to MW for about 2 or 3 times, and once was on Prisc's Birthday with Jimmy, Wee, Sheryl years back!

The music was quite alright, not so much of Hip Hop stuffs. Exchanged for the free drink with is inclusive of the cover charge. Chatting and lazying for awhile before heading down to the dance floor.

It was so packed! But we (Lucifer, Jimmy339, Nat, and myself) managed to get to the higher platform at the side. Music was still good, but hard to move about. There's some "entertainment" too, 2 ladies dirty dancing not far from our location, and one really emm....big size lady dancing on another platform opposite us.

But after some time, came all those Hip Hop tunes that was mixes to sound like a techno, and other techno tunes made me bored. So in the end, I left abit early as I still have to work on Saturday (but the main reason was the music...hahahaha). Did enjoy in the beginning lah...haha...

Well, I dun see myself heading to MW again, or at least on Friday Night *LOL*

Been a week since I last posted anything. Partly may due to the little increase of work load, and I can't access to my blog at office (not very sure why, but Shirely said it maybe due to some error in the javascripts), and my bro has been using my PC very often at home now.

Anyway, the week has been good, although I missed Church service again (very bad).

1st September 2005

Met up with Nigel (VOGS new-member) to sell him the Tintycool voucher, which I had place a $50 deposit in July. Reason to sell it is because I do not intend to do tinting at the moment, at least for the next few months. The tint I want is to have the same dark tone for the front, 4 windows, and the rear, and so, if I go for that, with UV protection and all that, it will cost me close to $400. If don't have UV protection, maybe can get it at about $100, just pure dark tinting. But the side effect is that, the eyes may be affected badly as more UV light will get into the eyes (coz if darken with tint, the eye pupil may open wider and hence more UV light enters).

Anyway, will just put that on hold.

The Unofficial VOGS DIY Session @ WDLs

Finally it's here!! Haha....have the chance to get to know more members from VOGS and to learn new things, new skills. Some of the DIY that will be doing is the Sound Proofing of door panels, heatshield for the airbox, air-con filter, control panel lighting change and installing of tail lamp. I will be doing just the air-con filter, as Vios do not comes with any air-con filter at all.

This is a very simple installation. Materials need is just buy the 3M air-con filter for normal air-con units at your home. There are 2 types, 1 is in a red box, which only have the filter. The other is in a blue box, which has the filter and mesh backing, which is of coz more expensive by about $4. One box of the air-con filter can be cut into a few pieces for further chaning of the air-con filter in the car. And the frequency to change is about 2 months.

Just cut into the required size, and slot it into the correct compartment, and that's about it. It only took me about 2 minutes to complete it....hahaha....below are some photos of it:

After done with my DIY, went around chatting with freinds, and helping out other with their DIY. Also went around to learnt other DIY, but all only learnt part by part, but at least have some simple knowledge already. Also found out that the radiator for manual cars is smaller then the auto cars, hmmm...anyone know the reason behind it?

After the DIY, some of the members decided to go to Marina South to have steamboat dinner. Everyone left either to wash their ride or went home to bath before meeeting at Marina South. I got home, bath and was ready to go Marina when Jack called that he needs help in Bukit Panjang. He was installing some guage on his ride. As it was getting dark soon as the sun sets, it's hard to see the wiring connection, so I'm the touch light guy there to help him. Finally done with his installation at about 8plus, and reached Marina South at about 9plus. Ate dinner and then headed to Cosy Bay to have some refreshment and watch soccer (Wales vs England).

Childrens Cancer Foundation - Tulip Hearts Day

Some of the VOGS members had already planned to go down and support this event. It was held at a carpark near to the Singapore Stadium. So we all had decided to meet at the kalland MacDonald's to have lunch and then do a short convoy down to the event carpark.

Well, I actually got up at 12.30pm, which was suppose to be the time for the lunch meetup. I guess is because of the nice, cold, rainy, weather that made me slept so late...heehee...

Reached the kallang Mac at about 1.45pm. And set up our convoy at about 2.15pm. Convoy down to the event carpark, done the donation, and took some photos of all the VOGS members there.

The only regret, should have bought more for the tulip flowers, very nicely done!

In the evening, went to wash my ride, as the rain finally stops. But before that, I had already done a little DIY of my own....haha...alter the color of the position light (so called the "small" lgiht on the head lamp). At first, I tried out blue color on the right, and red on the left. But the blue light is not really that visible, so in the end, changed both to red color. How to change?...hee..as I didn't buy any color bulbs, I just use the red and blue marker to color the side of the bulb to have the color effect. And also shifted the VIOS emblem to the center console panel there.

Finally, mission completed!

Fuel Price -- Ever Increasing

Wow!!!

To own a car or even a motobike is so hard nowadays, since the fuel price keep on increasing over the months. And this will be the 4th time in about 4 months. Have seen the price for Shell V-Power from $1.7++ per liter till now of the price of $1.99 per liter.

The annual profit of any petrol station company has been very good for the past years, but yet, prices always increase once in every (few) months, and each increase is by about 9cents. So maybe by the end of the year, the price for V-Power might be about $2.20 per liter, who knows?

Haha, just typical complains from any car owners. As for me, still not so bad, JB so near *evil grinz* LOL

Wow.....it's the first time in many months since I last finished work beyond 6pm! Keke.....well, coz Dennis (my site M&E Co-ordinator) had some urgent matters to update on the M&E Co-ordination Dwgs, and that he came to me only at about 5.45pm, so help him out abit.

When we finally settled the updates, it's about 6.30pm. Since not rushing home, so might as well do some photos editing and checking out on the VOGS forum. And then finally left the site at 7pm.

So as to fulfill what was to do done on Sunday, here are the photos of my latest mods. Gonna stop for a few months already, spent quite a sum of money already, so it's time for my bank account to grow abit first before I can do some mods again.

Where's My Time???

Finally have the time to sit down nicely infront of my PC and blog about my week so far.

So told by my A.P.M that I will be transferred to the Sentosa Cove site on Thursday. And I was suppose to finish up all the loose ends (drawings) of the Tan Quee Lan project and hand over before I went to Sentosa. Heard from my colleague in HQ that the Project Directors said that I'm too free in TQL, nothing to do, that's why they wanna transfer me to Sentosa Cove.

There bound to have some pros and cons:
1) TQL not that far as Sentosa
2) TQL parking is very expensive, everyday at least $7 exlcuding ERP. Senotsa, $2 entry excluding ERP.
3) TQL, easy to go town or other places. Sentosa, too corner liao.
4) TQL, lunch time can go to many places to eat. Sentosa, limited, unless drove out.
5) TQL, no need to get up so early. Sentosa, have to get up much much earlier.

So seems like the only advantage working in Sentosa is the free car parking.

So far, has been 2 and half days at my new job site. There are still quite some drawings to be drawn and alot still need to amend. Much more busy then in TQL. Hence, can't really blog during office hours *evil grin* and can't be so responsive in the VOGS Forum.

Today, meet up with Jack to go down to AET to buy some car accessories. Browse for quite sometime before we finally bought all the stuffs we wanted. I got a set of neck cushion and seat belt-shoulder cushion, one TRD fuel tank cover, and a chrome TRD epoxy emblem. Total damage, $34. Jack got 2 sets of head-rest cover, rear lamp bulb, and non-slip mat. Fixed the fuel tank cover and the TRD emblem straight after buying them. Not bad, although the fuel tank cover is a little smaller then I thought.

After that, went on to Chuan Sing Auto Accessories Centre (Serangoon Garden Way), to install the HU that I bought over from Jordan (VOGS Member). After the installation, Jack was in my ride, playing with the HU, testing the touch-screen functions. Will show you all the photos of the HU, TRD Emblem, fuel tank cover and the cushions soon when I take the photos tmr after washing my ride...heehee....

Movie - The Maid

Was at Causeway Point Cathay Cinema, watching this move with Prisc and one of her friend. For those who knows Prisc, she is those, who will never pay to watch something that frighten/scares herself. So by watching this movie, wow, it might never happen again!! *Evil Smile*

As some of you might already recieved emails regarding the toilet at Plaza Sing. It does scared the s**t out of some who were taken by surprised of the full size doll or the poster.

I think the story was well written, although some of the scene might have copied from other scary movie such as "The Ring". As from one particular scene, the maid, Rosa, was sweeping away the burnt ashes and her Madam came as scolded her, then told the maid to go back inside the house. As Rosa was walking back, a hand suddenly grabbed her leg, and she falls! And there is this "sadako" looking ghost crawling up to her.

The sound effect was good and sharp. You can imagine the errie-ness of the opening and closing of those metal doors yrs ago. And there were many sudden, out of no where, "just-to-scare-you" scenes that always keep you at your seat. But the movie audence was abit nosy lah, maybe they were just to engrosed into the movie, and always "telling" Rosa why she do this why she do that.

Taking a look at Prisc, she hugging her Moon-pillow tightly with her right hand, while covering her face with her left hand, just allowing small gaps between the fingers to watch the movie.....haha...so cute. I guess most gals are like this. They like to cover their face and only can see some part of the screen, as that may prevent them from seeing those things that they would not want to see.

I think this movie was not quite a bad one, worth a 3.5 - 4 stars out of 5. Should go watch it!

A few stuffs happened just these 2 days, but it's because of these few things that happened in life that makes it so enjoyable and meaningful....although Life Is Meaningless.

1) Wheel-arch Undercoat DIY @ Punggol (Sat)

Went straight to Punggol after work. Reached there at closed to 2pm, as I went to the wrong DIY meetup location...hahaha....anyway reached there safely. Saw many other VOGS Members already there, and some even finished doing the rubberise coating under the wheel-arch.
Step 1: Jack up the front wheel, and wash the wheel-arch (just try to get rid of grass/dirt/sand, etc)
Step 2: Use masking tape to tape on the edge of the wheel-arch (to prevent from spraying on the body kit)
Step 3: Spray the rubberise coating on the wheel-arch, layer by layer (wait for each layer to dry before applying another layer)
Step 4: Same procedure for the rest of the other wheels.
Did managed to meet some new friends over there, like gargamel aka Kenneth, SoYaBean and Josh (so far, the only Vios with a sunroof).
By the time I finished doing the DIY, it's already 5pm, and hands very dirty. So have to skip the Church service for that day... Hai~~~~

2) Watching Soccer @ AMK S23 Kopi Tiam (Sat)

Met Jack, Edmund and wife @ the kopitiam to watch the match of Liverpool vs Sunderland. Not the best performance by the Reds, and only managed to win by 1 - 0. After watching the game, Jack helped me install the TRD Tail lamp on my ride. Like the new changes alot, very very sporty looking now. Photos below:

3) Holiday Plaza, JB Malaysia (Sun)

Went to Holiday Plaza in JB Malaysia in the afternoon with Daniel. Just jalan jalan and to recce there to see if there are any cheap car accessories. Only managed to find one TRD emblem. Daniel drove his rented car into Malaysia, and I can say that his driving skill of cutting lane and follow the front car bumper by bumper is good....hahaha...anyway that is the kind of daring-ness you must have if you are driving in Malaysia in the daytime, if not, you will find yourself always very very far in the usual traffic jam to the custom checkpoint.

Did installed the TRD Emblem in my boot liao, but forgot to take the pix after I installed it, next time then show the pix here.

Okie, time to watch soccer again.

Sum Up For The Week

Becoming more and more lazy to update my blog...haha....what to do? It's like everyday also so busy.

So just to sum up what I have forgot to blog for this week.

1) THE SIM-RMIT BASH 2005

And also, The Nerd-tional Bash Pageant 2005
Gothem Penthouse

Was invited by Prisc, as she was taking part in the Pageant. Meet with Key and Lesile to go together. While there at Gothem Penthouse, also meet up with Geoff and his friend. The main event only started at about close to 10pm. Was quite funny to see most of them dressed in their most nerdy attire. Later also met Val, and some of Prisc's poly/SIM classmates.

In the end, Prisc was the 1st Runner-up for the Bash Pageant, not bad I should say, and maybe only lose out on the votes (40%). Anyway, had great fun after the Pageant, as the after-pageant party starts.

The only let down ... ... All night long, only Hip Hops and Top 40s, what a bore!!

2) Weekly Basketball @ Bishan

Played so many time @ bishan liao, and yesterday is the first time that the "fatimah" came and check on cars w/o parking coupons or had their coupon timing expired. It happened at about 9.30pm and eveyone went to our ride, started the engine. Some just wasted 50cents by tearing a coupon, while others (like me), drove drove to another location, and wait for awhile (also can rest for a while, buy drinks, etc)

We continued palying till the lights went off. Was a tiring night of games, and was super off-form!!

3) Armrest Console Box

Met up with Melvin (VOGS Member) at AMK to get the armrest from him on last Sunday and installed in myself. Very simple, just slot in, hassle free. To me it looks not bad lah, just that there is not cup holder, and have to get used to pulling up the handbrake and shifting the gear handle.

4) Chinese Movie - Seven Swords

Went watching that movie with my movie buddy, Prisc. Not bad for that movie lah, haha. The fighting scenes was not bad. The story-line, got a few loop holes loh, other then that, is quite an enjoyable movie lah....just plainly "kin kin kian kian" all the way....hahaha

Next movie, The Maid! Who wanna watch???!!!??!!

Later will be going to sengkang area to do some DIY on my ride. Likely will install the TRD Tail lamp then, after that, maybe doing the rubberise undercoating for the wheel-arch. If there's still time, will rush down to the Saturday service, then later that, EPL matches. Tonight will have "Live" telecast of Liverpool vs Sunderland.

TRD Tail Lamp + Foggies

Monday night, met Jack and Natalie at AMK before heading down to the Airport Terminal 1, to fetch Dickson. He had gone to Thailand on a short trip and had a shopping list of Vios accessories. So we were there, together with Vida and Alvin, to help collect the items.

Me, Jack and Natalie had a little "lost" story on the way to the airport. As we reached the airport early, we went to T2's starbucks to "lim kopi", TCSS abit till about 1145pm, and went back to T1.

Saw, Dickson waiting for all his barang barang. End result, 2 trolley full of boxes. He even had to push the 2 trolley to another room for special checking.

Actually, I asked Dickson to help me look out for a pair of foggies, but he forgotten it as the shopping list does not indicate the foggies. And he had bought extra sets of the TRD Tail Lamp, black based, so I just grab 1 set from him.

Cost me abt $100plus , close to $200. Also bought the silicon liao, so just waiting for the chance to install it when free. Might do it on friday after the basketball game on friday.

Then yesterday, went to Tampines to meet Alex (another VOGS member) to take a look at his foggies. He's selling it at $60, with all the wirings and switch.

Wah....my wifey is gonna have quite a major change liao....hahaha....this month super over spent! Still haven't done the window tinting yet! Should be postponing it till maybe next month or so. Hai~~~

Finally, the long awaited mobile phone + camera + mp3 player, is here!! But it will cost a bomb!! Seen from yesterday's The Newpaper, it's about $900++ without line. So will be about $800 if u intend to upgrade/sign on to ur exsisting line. And maybe $600+ or $700 if using the trade-in. Still very expensive!!!

Vida's place + Ikea

Happy 40th Birthday, Singapore.

Been sleeping like a pig on this big day, only to finally got up at abt 1plus in the afternoon. Was supposed to meet Jack to buy some dishes for the pot-luck lunch/dinner at Vida's place in Bukit Panjang.

Reached Vida's place at about 3.30pm, watched a VCD movie, started our pot-luck lunch cum dinner. Dickson also brought along his controller and some played the PS2 games in Vida's room. Then at about 5plus I had to go Boon Lay Mrt.

Went to Boon Lay Mrt to pick up Prisc, and then headed to IKEA, to hunt for items for her new bedroom (she's moving houses in early Oct). We were waiting for Raymond at the makan place inside IKEA. I think he's sleeping lah, although he kept denying it (coz he was to be there at 6.30pm, and when Prisc called and msg him, there was no reply at all, and only about 7pm then he replied that he is at home, and coming now. When he finally arrived, his hair look just like he had gotten up from bed......hahaha).

We spent so much time in IKEA, browsing thru all the sections, jotting down notes, model numbers of the furniture, pricing etc. Finally finished our "window-shopping" at 10pm, then went to the Bukit Timah Market/Food Court to have supper.

Super duper tired after that, maybe due to the window-shopping.

Went out pubbing with some new friends from the VOGS forum. Just some normal pub where there's a pool table, and then can sing karako too. It was a nice gathering, and some fun time watching them playing the pool and the dice game.

We all stayed till about 1am, before some left, to go Mdm Wong, some went home. Me and Jack had the idea of going to JB to top up the fuel. But he's afraid of being stopped by TP on the way there and kena caught entering JB with less then 3/4 tank (coz he only left with 2 bars). So in the end I went in alone, pump to the rim and backed home. Very tired, it's about 2plus in the early morning...... time to drop dead on the bed liao.... .zzzzZZZZZ

Auto Trail 2005, Marina

Met Jack, Edmund, and then Francis at AMK to de-badge our rides. It took us alot of hardship to finally get it done, so much sweat and a broken fingernail. Jack and Edmund had done a better job, but mine, I think the paint work got scratched, after waxing liao, still "blurr blurr".

Edmund ride got some problem with the antenne, and was sent to Chuan Seng audio service center to get it done. And we were all on our way to marina, thanks to Jack who "offered" to fetch us all (pointless to drive all 3 cars there mah, so carpool loh).

We parked at Golden Shoe Centre, then took the mrt to marina bay, then took a bus to our destination. Quite alot of ppl there. Spent about an hr or so there, but was quite disappointed in the end. Not that great as expected.

Why?

- The drag race was said to have shorten the distance to just about 150meters.
- No one is the be seated at the spectator's stands due to safety reason (and coz of the 2 reason, many didn't take part in the end).
- The race queen competition was a total disappointment (was accompanying Edmund's wife to watch, while Edmund and Jack went to the audio section).
- The audio section, also not up to expection, with limited booths and showcase on the audio systems.

So to us, it's total disappointment. But I do have one consolation, that is to snap Cassandra from the Blitz's booth.

Pool Session @ Golden Mile Tower

Been quite awhile from playing pool. The last time was about a month back, together with Zann, Raymond, Eng Chye at Altivo, Mt Faber.

Before I went to Golden Mile Tower, went to the Kallang Mac to collect the Car Decal for the road tax/season parking. Also helped Jack and Francis to collect theirs (haven't taken the photos yet, will post up once it's taken, it's quite a nice design).

Reached Golden Mile Tower at about 9pm, and some members from VOGS were already there, Eddie, Porky, Ben, Wee, etc. Natalie was the next to come, but she also go "holland", and needed road directions from Wee and Porky, yet still end up at Maxwell before finally arrived.....haha....

We played till about 1am, and then proceed to somewhere nearby for supper. Super tired, but a very fun and enjoyable night, meeting new friends and chatting.

Bowling @ Victor Bowl, Marina

Hmmm, can't really remember when is the last time I touch a bowling ball. Anyway, yesterday was the centre-meetup for VOGSgers. Had some TCSS and fun bowling games at Victor Bowl.

Before the centre-meetup. I met Jack and Edmund & Wife for dinner at suntec. Went into a restaruant at the basement, Siam Kitchen. The price seems not bad, and the look of the dishes sounded not bad also. And they have a buffet dinner at $18.90, eat all you can.

But we ended up ordering from the alacate menu, coz not really worth it eating the buffet. We ordered 4 dishes and 2 plates of rices (pineapple rice, the other forgotten liao).

All the dishes came, and the taste is, not bad, heehee, and some is really quite hot coz of the little red hot chilli. But we noticed that our last dish is the "Kang Kong". So we told one of the staff, that we had ordered the dish and waiting for it to be served. The staff went to "check", and never told us the result. Nevermind, waited about 10minutes, asked another staff. End result, still the same. Finally asked the more senior management staff. He quickly went to the check out counter, to check on the reciept, then quickly told the staff to tell the cook to prepare our dish. The senior staff then came back to our table and apologised to us, and say that the dish will be served in 3 minutes. So overall, we had waited for about 30minutes just for a simple dish. And we got a free "green mango salad" dish for our complain also....hahahaha.....

And when we paid the bill, we have a 10% further discount.....hmmm...not sure if it's an extra discount coz of our complain, or is it becoz it's paid by using visa/master...... ......... ...............

The centre-meetup is supposed to meet at 8-8.30pm, but when we finished our dinner, it's already 9pm....hahaha..

Car Wash & Wax

Had a lazy Sunday morning sleeping. Finally woke up at about 2pm. Got up, brush my teeth, and get ready to wash my ride. The weather was good, bright and sunny. Went round some MSCP, but the wash bay was always full. Finally found one, which has only one car occupying the wash bay. made 2 friends while washing the cars together....haha....nice chatting with them. One drive a M3, the other a BMW. The M3, full tank also milage about 460km only.

After drying my ride, moved to another carpark, and parked at a higher level to do the waxing. Took me quite awhile to get ever part of the exterior waxed. Then move my ride up to the top level, open space. And wola! There are the pics below:

PG Night Sprint, Toyota Free Night

The second big event of the day! PG Night Sprint, Toyota Free Night!

Went to pick up Prisc as she wanted to go too, and specially made arrangement on she working schedule so that she will be able to come to the event.

Drove all the way to the Jurong Bird Park to meet up with the rest of the VOGSgers. Had never been to JBP, so alittle blurr blurr on the roads, haha, but after the exit on to Jalan Bahar Road, met Jimmy & Jack, so just follow them all the way to JBP.

Met Bay there to collect the walkie talkie, and he will be leading the newbies and those who are not sure of the way to PG. We move out at about 9.30pm towards the 2nd Link (as told that there will be no traffic jams). So there we go, zooming towards tuas. But we had to stop at the bridge leading to the custom checkpoint, as what was assumed was wrong, there was traffic jam, and a few of us were stuck at the extreme right lane, where the cars seems to not be moving at all. After sometime, lucky some VOGSgers were on the left lanes (and they gave way to those who were stuck on the right lane) and we managed to cut into the left lane.

After clearing the Singapore custom, is one whole stretch of "no men's land". Tested abit of my engine, and clocked at about 140 to 150km/h before reaching the Malaysia Checkpoint.

The newbie convoy regrouped after the first toll, and we headed toward a nearby Petronas Station for a "pit-stop". After getting all that was needed, and letting go all that was not needed (visit to the toilet), we move on towards our destination. Throughout the journey on the convoy, many cute funny conversation was heard over the walkie talkie. And the convoy was always breaking up at some point, and me and the last ride has to do the catching up (all thanks to the ride infront of me.....as he always lost sight of the car infront of him).

Upon reaching the PG Circuit, as I'm not gonna race on the track, I parked my ride outside the circuit, and walked in. I did bring my camera, but never took any shots (dunno why....haha).

There are other car makes coming to the race too, like Subaru, Honda, Hyundai, Proton. Saw one Lotus too! But that Lotus only sprint once and was never seen again till the end, was toll out of the circuit.

Watching the sprint, was only fun for the first 10 to 20 mins, haha....Prisc and I was standing all the way from start to end, 1 hr watching the sprints. I think next time when I'm coming to PG again, will be on the race track!

Bay was again leading a convoy back to Singapore via the Woodlands Checkpoint, so again, will be following him. I'm the last ride on this convoy. At some point, the convoy was broken up, and Bay as far way infront that I think I lost the sight of his car. And I had to speed at 140km/h on that 2 lane JB road (I actually don't know how fast I went, no time to check the speedometer, it's Prisc who told me I drove at 140km/h) in order to catch up.

After awhile, it's own time own target already as it will be heading straight all the way, and it will lead to the Custom Checkpoint. There are many petrol station along the way, but I still choose Caltex, as it is nearest to the custom, so less fuel will be used up after topping up the tank....hahaha....

Got home after sending Prisc back home, and the time is already 2am.....so tired and sleepy. Tomorrow's agenda, wash my ride, and wax it.

VOGS DIY Session

Saturday morning, a normal day at work. But at about noon, it started to rain @ Bugis. Arghh...hate raining days, have to drive on a wet road and hope no one bangs into mine again!

Well, lucky enough that my RT was deferred till Sept, so I have the whole afternoon for the DIY Session. Reached the MSCP at close to 2pm, parked my wifey on the 4th level, and open the front bonnet for the engine to cool down. Today, I will be doing the CAI (Cold Air Induction/Intake), and the changing of Magnium Horn.

The turn out was very good; think should have about 100 cars. The first DIY to start is the CAI, and "rev" is incharge of this particular DIY. He explained and show the demo, those who are doing the CAI, on how to detach the original air-intake pipe, and then to install the new pipe, and how to re-route it. After the explanation and demo, we queue up to pay for the new piping and collect some cable tie. And off we went, to our own rides and start to DIY by ourselves, and of coz, getting our hands dirty. Took me about 20mins to finally get everything done.

Met Han Yuan there too, he was there to accompany his friend for the DIY. But he leaves soon after. Also meet up with a member, Singer High, to pass him the 3M undercoat spray. As usual, TCSSing while waiting for the next item, the changing of horn. The 5th level was doing the grounding of the engine.

Okie, time for the next item, the horn! Has been waiting to change the stock horn for a long time, coz the stock horn is too soft to alert cars and motorist, and they simply "Bo Chup". So by changing to a much louder horn, can surely get their attention. Don't worry, although it is loud, but it's approved by the LTA, and, of coz I won't use in on bicyclist and pedestrians, won't wanna create heart attack among them.

After finishing on my DIY, went around watching what the others were doing. Watched those who were fixing the air-con filters, and those doing grounding. So if next time I wanna have those done on my ride, will know how to do it already. TCSS again while waiting another friend to come, as I'm going to get the "vvt-i" emblem from him, to but on my front M6 look-a-like grill.

Meanwhile, was also putting up some stickers on my ride. Got the stickers from Adrian aka AAATOP more then a month ago, but got no idea where to paste them....haha....so finally able to use them.

Too bad that my camera was low batt (for gotten to charge the batt, and forgotten to take the spare batt with me), so not much photos taken...haha....and when finally everything as done, it's abt 6plus. Time to go home to bath and have dinner, and get ready for the second big event of the day... ....... ............

Carwash, Supper, Fuel @ JB

Went JB for a carwash, followed by supper and then pump fuel on the way back. Haha….this is the furthest my wifey had ever went in JB, but the record will be broken on Saturday night, as I will be going to Pasi Gudang with the VOGS members.

Picked up Prisc first and got the duty free “Martini Red”, and then met Raymond under my block. No traffic all the way into JB, coz we went in at abt close to midnight. Raymond instructs the way to the place for the carwash, near the New York Hotel. Went into one carwash kiosk, it charges RM8 for the carwash. Then the guy asked if wanna do polishing. When asked him how much, he pointed to a white board. Oh!....polishing is RM60 while waxing is RM70. Haha…can forget about that. After telling him I only wanted a carwash, passed him the car key, and headed to the makan store.

Had the Rami Burger, it smells very very nice when they were preparing it, but somehow, does not taste that nice. After some TCSSing after the supper, we went back to collect my wifey. At the first look, it seems like a job well done. Even the rims were also washed and blacken. Then proceed to the Caltex station near to the custom to pump up the petrol.

It’s only then, realize that the washing was not really done properly leh, as I still can see some tiny bits of the bird waste stain on the top, and my bonnet, some part is abit oily, and can see clearly under light. Think I wash myself better. Thinking of waxing next week….haha…so far has not done any waxing yet.

Spent a total of RM40 on the fuel, think about 26 or 27liters, can’t really recall. But I forgotten to switch off my engine when filling up the fuel. Then Prisc asked if I had pumped to full tank or what? Why the digital meter still at half tank!!??

Anyway, the meter started to rise to full bar very slowly. After this trip, think saved quite a bit on the fuel, close to about 90 cents per liter, depending on what type of fuel you pump. Since I only refill my fuel once a week, and each week can save about $23, then one month I can save about close to $100 liao….heehee…not bad…lucky I stay in Woodlands, trips to JB will never be the same again!!

Quiksilver Beach Volleyball '05

Quiksilver Beach Volleyball '05 @ Siloso Beach, Sentosa, 24th July 2005

Got up super early in the morning, about 6plus am (actually there's a soccer game @ St. Wilfred too). Got up and get myself ready, and pack my bags, then head down to the Marsiling Mrt to meet Sui, and fetch him to Sentosa.

As seen in the header and title, yup, we are heading down to Sentosa for the beach volleyball competition organised by Quiksilver. Grace Lim (from PUNJ) had this lobang and was asking if anyone interested in joining to have some fun, sun-tanning, and fellowship together after the games, best of all, it's free registration for us and we get to keep the FREE Quiksilver singlet and a drinking cup. So we managed to form up 5 teams of 4 players, plus some who came down to be the pomp pomp cheerleaders (all from PUNJ). None of us are good at playing volleyball, as our main objective is the....haha....free stuffs...opps....

So when got there and finally done with the registering there, and collected our free gifts, our objective for the day is 50% completed. Out team members are Danny (captain), Grace, Sui and me.

We played a total of 5 games in the round-robin format, and managed to win 3, and lose 2. One of the win was against one of the PUNJ Team, whose captain is the funny man, Elliot.

Priscilla and some of her friends also came to Sentosa to play with frisbee and lazying on the beach. It's still raining a little when they came, and managed to catch my team's last round-robin match, which we lost jia lat jia lat....haha...

After everyone had finished their round-robin matches, the PUNJers decided to play some water-polo and captain’s ball in the sea, as we thought that none of the teams will be able to advance into the next round at the center court. I did join the PUNJers at sea after watching the semi-finals of the Pros, the real 2 on 2 beach volleyball. The captain's ball, playing in the sea is very very very tiring. A few of the PUNJers had cramps on their legs eventually. At about 3plus, took some group photos and the rest we to clean up themselves and depart from Sentosa, while I went on to join Prisc and her friends, playing frisbee.

Well, finally I learnt how to throw a proper frisbee, learnt the 2 methods, forehand throw and backhand throw. I do prefer to using the backhand throw as it won't be so easily "miss-cued". We had so much fun playing it, and eventually some other guys did joined in the fun. Then I was approached by 2 Nivea Girls, and they said I had sunburn and then started to spray the sundown lotion on my shoulders and back. Thanks girls....hahaaa...but I just dun recall that there's any bright sunshine during the whole day. It's raining from about 11.50am till 12.55pm, and was cloudy from about 11am onwards.

Anyway, we did packed up and heading to clean up ourselves at about 5plus. We went on our separate ways as my car was parked at the newly built, cashcard carpark, which is nearer to the palawan beach, while their's was parked at an open space free carpark nearer to siloso beach. We did ended up having dinner at the Sakae Sushi Restaurant, although I have a great craving for the Ba Tuk Teh, but I don't wanna eat alone mah....haha...

Finally finished our dinner and then headed for separated paths again, as Prisc and friends were going to the Airport, while me, heading home first before catching a movie with Raymond, Jimmy, Eng Chye, and Choy Ee. We watch the movie, The Island. Not bad, I will give it a rating of hmmm....3 out of 5. Quite a few exciting chase scenes, if not for those and a good cast, I think I will be sleeping in the cinema. My whole body was aching.

By the way, I did sent out an email to the PUNJers Group, and Grace replied me. And she did mentioned that actually out team, managed to qualify for the quarter-finals of the 4 on 4. The rest decided to boycott it maybe coz our team will be the worst of the 8 teams, somemore playing at the center-court, with all the spectators, and commentaries, don't wanna "malu" ourselves.....haha

Wifey Back From Hospital

Why? Me Not Trying To "Siam"

So sianz, went to the maju camp for my RT 2nd session of 8. But was having slight flu for the past 3 days, due to the weather and too heaty ba. Before the start of the excerise, the PTI asked if anyone not feeling well, or having flu, just recovered from flu, or having muscles strain. So I just raise my hand, coz I'm still having slight flu, and my thigh muscle have not fully recovered from the basketball game last week.

I thought will just go to the gym and do some light workout, but I was wrong, and got a shock! The PTI CSM told the 12 of us who have flu, to go and see the Medical Officer. And the reason why suddenly so strict is that, there's an army personel who died while on training while he has flu. The medical study for fully recovery from flu is 2 weeks, so there was a rule/instruction passed down that, once have flu systoms, will be excused for 2 weeks. 2 weeks means that we will miss 4 RT session. But we can only be allowed to make-up on 2 RT session, so the CSM told us that we will be deferred from this current RT Phase, and have to retake it again!!

So no choice liao loh, have to wait see when they can put me in the new RT phase date again liao. Sianz!!

After that, met some other members from the VOGS forum @ Yishun Dam. They are all driving OPC, so they thinking of gathering the OPC members to have a TCSS session etc. Although the numbers was small, only 4 of us, but we still had some good sharings and TCSSing. Saw Rose & Siao-Gu there to distribute the magum horns also. I think the Mazda Owners Group also had a gathering there too. Alot of Mazda makes parked at one stretch of the road.

Initially, intended to go for "Dim Sum" supper, but end up chatting till about 10plus. So all just proceed back home.

Damage Settled

Was down at the workshop, Lai Huat @ Sin Ming Industrial, Sector A. Arranged with the Indian man to meet up and let him see the damages that it will really cost up to maybe $1.3-$1.5k. So after he looked at the car damage, and he seemed convinced that it does cost that much. And he is willing to pay for all it needs to repair on the damages. At least he is sincere and willing to fork out the $$$. So the mechanic guy, Jason, draft out the quotation to him.

And since I told him that this workshop was quite highly recommended, and since he's already here, he asked Jason to take a look at his car too, to see if it can be repaired here. His car, since banged by the taxi behind, was making a lot of noises from the rear. After Jason test drive the car and heard the noise, it seems that the car exhaust or some part was damaged.

At first, Jason still recomend us to take up with the insurance claim for all three parties involved. But the Indian man does pity the taxi guy who banged into his, so he had already made a mutual agreedment seperately. And the taxi guy will pay for the Indian man's repair. And the Indian man is sincere and wanted to settle mine in the same way, in a mutual settlement instead of going to the insurance claim. The longer it drag, the more heart pain to see my car in that state. So we both went up to the office to sign the nutual agreement form after Jason has written the quotation neatly on a piece of paper for the office to do out the official slip.

The only regret is that I never asked for any claim in transport from the Indian man. Although I was entitled to claim from him, but since I seldom drove to work, and the recent rise in fuel, so I think I will just stick to bus/mrt for the next 4 or 5 days, till my wifey is fully repaired. Well, some can call me dumb ass, stupid fool, but I think it is not necessary to push someone to the very limit. The Indian man is smart by not wanting to go thru the insurance claim as he will be afraid that in the end, the cost will be much much higher. And as for me, I also don't wanna claim thru insurance as it is too troublesome and not "nice" to claim it just after one month of getting the car!!!

So just hope that I will get the happy call from Jason on either Thursday or Friday.

Wifey Molested On The Butt !!!!

Was on my way back home from work on Friday, about 6pm. Before that, it was raining quite heavily in bugis area. Everything was fine until the road after the traffic light after the KK Hospital. Was on Lane 1, and the taffic was slow. From my rear mirror, I saw a car turning out from Lane 2 into Lane 1. The Merc Taxi infront of me released his break and moved forward. And I do the same, as normal, just slightly move forward a little and then breaked (so was the merc taxi infront).

And the next time I know, "Bang!" The car from behind ramm into mine. Put gear to neutral, pulled handbreak, got out of the car to see the damage. The car which rammed into mine is a BMW, of coz the metal more strong lah, see his car front, like nothing happened. Also noticed another taxi behind also stopped, and the taxi driver suggested that we moved to the road side or into the petrol station to settle the case.

So all 3 cars drove into the station. Got out again to inspect on my wifey. The first look, seems okie, coz the bumper didn't look like it was dented from behind. But the bumper to the side was blotted out, on both sides, and my boot seems to be like been "squashed". So I opened the boot and inspect, wah, the internal metal "bone" of the car boot was slight dented in at some point. And can't close the boot. So have to use the bicycle elestic tie to hold the boot in place.

The guy who bumped me is an Indian, seems to be doing quite okie (driving BMW, gives out name card to the taxi driver). He seems okie to talk to, and we exchanged contact numbers and other particulars. The taxi driver does have 2 passengers, and he said that can just exchange contacts and settle later as he has passengers on board and they are going for an appointment. In my opinion, this taxi driver is just speeding away. And it's becoz of the taxi who rammed into the Indian guy's car, and the motion of the collision, bumped on my car. But dunno why mine seems to the most jia lat of the 3 cars. Damn!

So I think on Sat will goto the workshop and check how bad really was the damage and how much it will cost, and call back to the Indian guy if he can afford it or he wanna go thru the insurance claim. What a day!

Sun-Shade For Wifey

Met up with a member from VOGS to collect a air purifier. Then at night, met up with Eric, whom I ordered the sun-shade for my front windscreen and rear wndscreen as well as wordings for the front bonnet.
My appointment with him was at 9pm, but when got there, wah, at least have 2 cars haven't done up yet, so gotta wait till my turn. And when everything was done, it's already abt 11plus, coz when they install the wordings on the rear, it was slanted and they have to take it out, and Eric had to go back and reprint out the wordings and then install again.
Was glad at what I see after the installation. Very nice, esp the embross "VVT-I"

Friday Night, 8th July

As usual, went to Bishan to have some game of basketball with fellow VOGS members. Had some other younger guys from some CC played with us. They are good! (at least for their age as compared to us)

We played 4 on 4, and these guys managed to stay undefeated till the 4th game when one of our selection (we had about 12 members there) won against them. Well, we had some great games that night, TCSS while resting.

Saturday, 9th July

Today was my LCD Duty as I swap with Joy Kwan, as she can't do the duty on that day. Arrived at about 4.15pm and went up to the MPH. Wow, saw alot of youths, some at the music section, playing all the music instruments, and some doing the backup vocals. They are all from the TNYF (The New Youth Fellowship). And they will be leading the Music Worship for the week. So following the SOP, got ready the songlist and have everything settled. Service began, and really have to give these youths the thumbs up!

After the service, joined some PUNJ members for dinner (Grace, Li Chuan, Danny.....) @ Holland Village. And the PUNJ had so many new faces now, with some older members left to serve in other ministries. But it's great catching up with them. After dinner, I went to meet a friend from VOGS (Edmund), to fix up the tinted tail lamp on my ride. As he bought a new pair of TRD tail lamp, so he gave me his, FOC. The tinting is not so dark, so it looks quite alright. Actually, it looks quite good on black rides.

Sunday, 10th July

A lazy lazy Sunday morning. I did got up in the morning quite early, to reply back sms sent by Lim Chia. And guess what? "Snoring" away after replying those sms, superb right?? haha...she went to arpc with her aunt today, the 9am service. We kept constant sms-ing each other throughout the afternoon (coz I think we have a lot of free sms mah....haha....).

Went to NTUC to buy some tibits and POKKA Lemon Tea. And so suay, rained quite heavy. And the stupid umbrella just happened to "play punk". It can't stay closed as the plastic catch cracked.

Other then that, has been really lazy-ing at home... ... ...

Looking forward to Monday night thou, coz I have ordered sun-shade (front & back) for my ride, and some wordings for the front bonnet. But photos taken at night no so nice, so maybe taking some more new photos during the weekend as post it up.

Wow...July now, and half of the Year 2005 has just zoomed past! Looking back, so many things had happening in the past 6 months, and more will come in this next 6 months.

Had a little freak accident while parking my car at my work site on Tuesday. Ended up with slight scratch on the right bottom bumper, and the rubbery material popping out between the bumper and the bodykit (of the left side). What to do? Live with it man......more of these stupid scratches will come as time goes by.

Then on Wednesday, met Priscilla in town to hunt for her Havaianas slippers. She had saw the arrival of the design she wanted a few days before. Actually I "owe" her that pair of slippers as her 21st Birthday present. But she's still undecided over 2 designs, as the one she likes, only have size 7 (which is slightly bigger, and more expensive), while the other design, fits nicely to her feet of size 6, and cheaper. And finally she chose the one she like, although is slightly bigger, but not so obivous lah. I think that it's also better to get things that you like, rather then becoz it's cheaper, and the design you don't like, as in the end, you will regret after buying.

Well then, we had dinner at KOPITIAM @ the basement of the Le Meridian Singapore. Ordered the "Ba Gu Teh", $7.50!!!!! free a cup of chinese tea. But hai~~~ not worth the $7.50 spent!! The soup sucks! haha...will still prefers the one selling at the hawker center beside the bus inter-change at the harbor-front.

After dinner, we headed to Alan's place for our new series of Bible Study. This time, we are touching on the book of Obadiah and Malachi. It's so nice to gather again to read and learn more on God's Word as a group. To share knowledge, and prayer points. We had 3 prayer points that night:
1) Bro Yong Wei, as he will be involved in the Boys' Brigade ministry to organise a fund raising event, a 28hrs Swimaton, to fund for a project in Cambodia for the young childrens there. It will be held on 27th-28th August 2005. So have to pray for the organising teams, and the people who will be paticipating the event.
2) Bro Yong Wei, urged by fellow BB Officer to join our Church's PUNJ Ministry. Purpose is the gel with the group there and share with the BB ministry there, hence try to recuit those who are interested in helping out on the BB & GB Ministry.
3) Sister Shirley, as she will be flying off to Brisbane, Australia on the 12th July to further her studies. Pray that she can find Christian friends around her, and continue the walk with God.

Morning Soccer

Woke up early again for the morning soccer game @ St. Wilfred. Played 8 a-side on the small field (about slightly bigger then the baskball court). But still, had a very tiring game, maybe due to the tireness I had while played the baskball on friday. After that, blog half-way for my previous post till abt 2pm, and fell asleep...haha...so just took a nap till abt 8pm.

Met Jimmy for dinner. But first, went to find a manual carwash for my ride. End up at the Yishun Shell station near the Northpoint, then proceed to the eating house near the Nee Soon Camp for "dim sum" and century egg porriage.

Body aching now, and feeling sleepy again .... ... ......

Thursday 30th June

Finally managed to sold off the original Bootlip of my ride. Don't need it anymore since I got a new spoiler installed. Managed to sell off at $40 for a member from VOGS. At first I dunno wanna just give it away or sell at a cheap price, as there are quite a few other members also insterested in it. So after giving some thought over it, decide to put a price tag at $40, which I guess is below avg of some other Bros in the forum had sold. Well, this money will be just enough for me to recover on the new visor for the windows I had booked!

Friday 1st July

Arranged with the seller of the window visor, Kit, on a meet up to collect the visor. Lucky that I going to Bishan to play basketball with some other new friends from the VOGS forum, and Kit lives in Toa PaYoh Lor 8, so is quite near.

3rd time playing baskball with those guys, and after the first game, wah, really very tiring, imagine that we player for nearly 10mins without any team scoring (either the defence is damn gd or the shooting sucks, which do you believe??...heee). Played a few more games after that, and ended the night of playing at about 9.45pm. Everyone was too tired to carry on....haha...we are not pros or semi-pro, or like those young guys anymore, so play play awhile tired tired liao.

Saturday 2nd July

After attending the Saturday Church Service @ APRC, meet up with Moses Boon, also a member from VOGS. Purpose? hee....Install the Front Air Damp Mesh, as well as getting the stopper for the side skirt. But in the end, bought the white lights for the "small" headlights and for the number plate behind.

Okie, here's the summary of what I had done to my ride since the first day:

Nano Meetup @ Tampines

28th Tuesday Night

Think is the 2nd time going to the nano meetup at tampines. Watching AAATOP showing his skills in fixing the "Angel Eyes". But I think next week will be going down too, hopefully to have my new horn installed on my ride. AAATOP aka Adrian, was asking me if I wanna join him in helping out on the DIY as he's always so busy helping out.

Will be thinking about it, maybe can earn some extra bucks...haha

29th Wednesday Morning

Wah....today! near accident...haha...ok ok, it's MY fault. Was driving along dunearn road (after exit from PIE via steven road exit). Signalled right to cut into the 2nd lane, and was cruising at abt 80km/h...just then, a van also signalled to cut into the 2nd lane from the left (abt 4 car length). So I just checked on my side mirror again, signalled right, and proceed to the 1st lane. Then what I heard next is "BEEPPPPP!" Seriously, I really dunno where this car comes from. So I just show the "Sorry/Paiseh/Thank you" hand signal and move on. I always has the habit of checking cars behind by looking at the side mirror over some distance. But anyway, TG that both the driver and I are safe...WILL turn my head to check blind spots next time.

Stole this gif animation from the VOGS forum..heehee....went Sun Plaza yday to watch this movie, together with my movie kaki, Prisc. My main objective towards the movie is the drifting and the way the movie was shot. Quite good I must say, but I wished that there are more races then that. To see the drifting effect is very impressive and feels great....haha....

I didn't read any of the jap ani comics or the anime, so not very sure of the default/correct version. But that Ah Mu, is really damn jia lat kind loh....hahaha....and so sad of the ending...just hope that the directors will make Initial D 2, and make it a better ending....haha....and Jordan Chan, only a camo role, and really hate that mop head.

Anyway, I think the movie overall was not bad, at least a 3 star out of 5.

VOGS 8th Mega Meetup @ Marina South

Friday Night 24th June

Dunno why fell asleep quite early, but woke up when I looked at my watch, 1230am! Was supposed to wash and polish my ride to get ready for the mega meetup. So quickly put on a t-shirt, and drove my ride to a multi-storey carpark.

By the time I finished washing and drying my ride, it's already 1plus, so I just wax the front bonnet and the spoiler....haha...no time liao, tired. Went home, had a quick bath, dried my hair and sleep again.....*snore*

Saturday 25th June

Got up at about 8plus, still feeling sleepy, but still have to go to work. Got a shock when I found out the the front of my ride kena some kind of white powder, so pissed! The side also kena abit. Oh what to do? Dun care already.

When I reached my site office, the sky don't look that good, black clouds everywhere. And not too long after that, it started raining, "great"!!!! It was raining quite heavily, but luckily it stopped at about noon.

Was waiting for a friend from VOGS as he's not too sure of the route to marina south, so I lead him. Actually wanna go by the fullerton road, but due to the NDP, it was closed, so hve to go thru by North Bridge Road, then Maxwell Road. Then while at the marina bay mrt station, picked up another friend who needs a little ride to the meetup location.

Not bad, when we arrived, there's already about close to 30 to 40 cars. Went to register and bought the official VOGS decal. Soon more and more Vios started to come in, so does those who entered the DreamVios Contest.

The opening speech was conducted at about 2.30pm, folloowed by introducing the moderators, vendors, and programs for the day. The turn out was great, alot of chio chio cars around, and more new friends to make. Did took some photos, but only a few.

The DreamVios Contest was won by Dickson aka FusionNos. And there was a lucky draw session where prices were sponsored by some of the brothers there. Then in the end, at about 5plus to 6pm, we took some group photos. Fetch a few friends to the mrt, and went straight to Church to help out on our last SUM duty of the month.

Had bought quite a number of stuffs during the meetup, eg. the Magnum horn and the eyelid. The eyelid was already installed during the meetup, so maybe the horn will have to do it in one of these days....looking out for brothers to do DIY installations.

Was told by Raymond that there will be a farewell dinner with Shirley, Siew Bee @ Westmall Sakae Sushi @ 7pm. So went home, changed, get my ride and went down to meet them for the dinner. After that, I sent Xueni & Kai Xian back, then proceed to pump my 2nd tank. Shell 98, 36liters. Not Bad for my 2nd calculation of FC. The first calculation, only got about 14.7km/l, this time, got about 15.3km/l.

Then headed towards Sengkang, where I am to meet Jordan (Vios21) from VOGS, to do the Heatshield installation. It's a DIY job. Jordan had done quite a good job on it and seems very pro...haha...can feel a slight improvement in the engine noise and better performance yet @ lower RPM. Next will be the CAI installation, which will further improve the performance and increase in the FC calculation.

Raining in the morning. So so sleepy....haha....gonna wash my car and do some polishing, coz there will be a VOGS Mega Meetup at Marina South. Gonna do nice nice...haha

1000km Servicing @ Sin Ming Service Center

Just went for the 1st servicing for my ride. Took a few hours from my work to bring the car down to sin ming service center for the express service. My appointment was at 1.30pm, but I reached there early. The service personnel was quite friendly, then we went one round of my car to check before he send it for servicing.

Then I went to the lounge to browse on some magazines and to surf the net. But, wah, the internet was so slow. Then at about 2plus, he called me and said I can collect my car in 15mins time. Wow, really super express servicing!

Sentosa "Moon" Tanning

After the Zoo outing, went on to pick Eng Chye up, and headed down to Sentosa, to enjoy some evening sun tanning, sleep, and relax....haha...

I think it's only abt slightly more then half a year since I last land foot on sentosa, but there are already alot of changes. The rolls of chalet housing on the hillside near the palawan beach is no more, so does the open air carpark there. But the newly built underground carpark was ready and in use. The only disadvantage, you need to pay for the parking!

Not bad, by the time we reached, the sun is still shinning brightly. And we noticed that the toilet and bath room area had been demolished, and new temperaly toilets are set up. But I don't think the present toilets are enough for the frequent usage my the amount of people here. Only One container of male toilet/bath, and two container of ladies toilet/bath. Each container only has two cubicles (I dunno about the ladies, but the gents is).

Bought a can of not-so-cold tiger beer, and we settled at the bora bora pub where there are comfortable yellow tanning plastic chairs. Took some photos and sleep for a good one hour or two. By the time we woke up, the sun was setting, took some more photos again. And so, it's dark, and we made a move.

Headed down to Geylang to eat our dinner and then went back home.

Visiting Zoo On Sunday Morning

This was quite a special day. Why special? Coz it will be the first time I'm stepping into the zoo since primary school days, and the admission ticket is free (thanks to Lim Chia). And of coz, going with Raymond (can you believe that he actually really woke up early in the morning?), Lim Chia and two of her friends.

I went to pick up Raymond, and then fetch Lim Chia & Friends in Yishun before turning back to the Mandai Zoo. We reached there at about noon.

As that day was the SPH Family Day, the place was very very crowded, filled with animal lovers. One of our objective was also to be able to catch a glimse on the tallest animal on earth, the giraffe. But after so many hours touring round the zoo, we can't find it!! Beside that, we did took alot of photos of the animals. Saw some really cute animals, but the best I have seen on that day is a Baboon. It sits like any other typical Kopitiam Uncle...haha

We finally give up looking for giraffe at abt 4pm or so, and dicided to make a move. And there was a huge jam, took about 15 to 20 mins to get out of the carpark. And then send Lim Chia and her friends back home. Quite an enjoyable outing I must say, but the funny thing is, I also dunno why, we didn't take any group photos!!! hahaha.....what a waste!!

Gathering @ Rizal's Place

Went over to Rizal's place for a gathering cum BBQ session. The objective is to gather and celebrate as a farewell thingy for Rizal, as he will be flying off soon, very soon, to Australia to further his studies. He's a real cool buddy to be with. Imagine that the both of us only really get to know each other thru the Kuantan Road Trip. He's one of Raymond & Jimmy's NAFA Classmates.

About a total of 15 friends of Rizal's was there, although some left early and some couldn't come due to some reason, I know Rizal was very very happy in his heart (as later when we left for home, he sent out a greeting sms, thanking all of us who had came for the gathering).

Too bad again that I didn't took any photos with my camera, so will have to wait in paitence for Rizal and Elaine to load up the photos.

We chatted, joked, and played some really cute, funny, stupid games. And I dunno who had started the idea of playing a number game, and the "loser" has to eat one scoop of the fried rice in the catering tray. No one has even barely touched the fried rice thru out the night. It's fun seeing others "lose" and have to eat the fried rice, and our aim is to finished the whole tray of rice. We did it no doubt, but by that time, it's already abt 3am. Jimmy and Rizal are the most lucky ones, to have eaten the rice only once. I had it 4 times, but I'm not the worst! Haha...I think Claudia, Ivy, Tat Lee, had eaten at least 5 servings.

Yah, this was one night that everyone present will remember for quite sometime.

Shirley's BD Celebration @ DXO

After sending the Bride's family safely back home, went to pick up Jim and head down to DXO, @ explanade. Shirley was having her 21st Birthday Party there. The cover charge was expensive thou, $24 for guys, non-member. But due to that day, have a guest DJ spinning, the cover charge was more expensive, $28!!!!!

I didn't bring my camera along, so all the photos I will have to wait for Shirley to either load them up or get the originals from her.

Well, DXO, once entered, was very surprised. Not because of the decorations and stuffs, but the crowd. As most places, the time when the crowd started to become more happeneing is around the time of 11pm to midnight, but when we had arrived at DXO, it's already midnight. The crowd, I think is only about 70, or slightly more then that only!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe I really can come to a conclusion that Most Singaporean Adults/Teenagers DON'T like House/Trance music. the dance floor I think only have a few "mice" standing there.

And by about 2.30am, I think the whole place is less then 20 people, dance floor empty. Can't believe that it's a friday night!!

Kenway's Wedding

My Beloved Brother-in-Christ is getting married!!! And by the time you got to read this, he's already happily married to his secondary classmate.

Arrived at about 8am at his place to tie the 4 "flowers" on the door handle, coz my Jr was one of the "brothers" car. Finally at abt 9am, we set off to the bride's place. As usual, kena "Sabo" jia lat jia lat before we all finally entered into the house. Then went back to Kenway's place for the tea ceremony. After that was done, we all proceed backed to the bride's place for another round of tea ceremony before we call it the "half-time".

As I was assigned as the driver to fetch the bride's family, I was at their place at abt 5.30pm to pick them up to Chervons for the Wedding Dinner.

New Look Zoukie Jr

Got back my Jr on Thursday evening. When I reached the workshop, the mechanic, Max, and his staff is still doing the last stage of fixing the spoiler. So I took time to browse thru his workshop for other car accessories. Had a few things in mind after browsing thru...hee...but that will be done in the future. Finally when all is done, Max took 3 designs of the shorter antenna and see which one I like. And since mine is a black ride, I chose the all black. The one with crome antenna base not bad too. Max, gave that antenna FOC to me (it coz Ithink abt $30).

Wednesday evening, was supposed to go JB, Malaysia with Zann. She going to City Sq buy some MP3 CDs, while I may wanna go FOS shop shop for shirt. But when we reached the old woodlands centre, wah, the jam was bad. After about 10 - 15 mins being stucked in the jam, Zann called her friends to check out the traffic flow towards JB from the internet, and the reply was, BIG JAM!! Okie, so she signalled left, and was able to cut out before the filter lane to BKE.

The next thing we know is, just can't believe our eyes. The jam was really very very very bad. You can see all the malaysian motocycles, occupying the 2 outer-most lanes, all riders with their helmets off. The jam tail has gone all the way till the Exit 10A (Woodlands Town). Crazy!!

Then we just had dinner at blk 306. She will be going to Mt Faber later as for her BD Celebration with her old classmates from Siling Sec. I was asked to come along also lah, so I called Raymond and then Adrian. Li Wei kena a slight accident and was nursing at home, poor boy, motorbike skidded.

I had never went all the way up to Mt Faber before (okie lah, paiseh for my kumpong-ness). Raymond said he know the way, but also never went up to the top before. So we just carry on our way to Mt Faber. In the end, we ended up at Telok Blangah Hill!! After much turning here and there, and after Raymond called Alvina for road direction, we FINALLY got to Mt Faber.

We chatted, drank, and played some "superb" pool games. Was quite a fun and enjoyable night....haha....we left at about 12plus. Might come back to this place again, really nice views =)

Hahaha....as promised, I have taken some photos of my blackie, only post some of it as the rest I thing I didn't captured it in a nice angle/view.....so wait till I prefect the shots, then I will post them up....haha...

Well, so far, has gotten myself a red non-slip mat for putting my hp, wallet and stuffs. Then also gotten a new black floor mat, which is much better then the BM's (Borneo Motors). Has not done anythings to my body kit yet, but alot of things has already been going in my mind. Wanted to do the toughseal, which can protect the paint works and also some UV protection ($300plus), then the window tint ($300plus too). My sis says she will sponsor me the new spoiler and maybe a new CD/MP3/CD-R/CD-RW Player. Will also wanna change the front grill to those Mazda6 look-a-like, but with red mesh...hee...also ordered some stickers of the Vios Group with my nick on it (so that it will be super easy to spot my ride on the road). Also ordered a pair of headlamp eyelid.

Wow wee....I don't wanna calculate how much I will have to spend to achieve all that! Scary!!

So far today, only have driven my blackie to the morning soccer game, but has ran a total of about 300plus km in 3 days liao. Somaybe after next week, after Kenway's wedding and over the weekend, can go for the first servicing already.

Finally the news was out! Liverpool got to defend rightfully for their crown in the UCL. But they are only allowed to start from the very beginning, the 1st round, meaning that they will have to play at least 6 matches, before they will be going to the group stages. These 6 matches will be super important to them, to get past them, and then continue their "Champion-Killer" acts like last season.

I am glad that Hamann has agreed to sign on for another year at least. But do have rumors that Milan Baros and Krikland are going to be sold and loan out respectively. But also heard that they are trying to get Raul from Real Madrid. After so long since the end of EPL, no concrete signings had been made except for the 16yo Spainish defender. Will be hoping that Rafeal Benitez will be able to buy some useful, consistant players to improve their chance of retaining the crown they earned with every sweat and blood.

Headache Hurts Loh

Went to consult the doctor at the polyclinic on Thursday afternoon. Had the usual medication, cough solution, and panadol. Well, I guess will just take the cough solution can liao...heehee....

And then at night, my dad told me that he will help me collect my Blackie MT. Happy like dunno what....haha....why? Since my dad is going to collect the car for me, he will have to pump a full tank for me, settle the road tax, buy the season carpark, and the car insurance. Wow, that can cost alot in total wor....hahaha....but really lucky lah, only one thing sad is, i never asked to change the CD player! Think will go upgrade after I got enough cash.

After work, rush home to see my Blackie....heehee...did took some photos, but have not upload them yet. My first destination was to Bishan, where I meet up with the guys from VOGS for basketball game.

When reaching home, got a call from Zann, jio me and some to K-Box. Went to the CCK Branch, and sing till about 3am!....hahaha.....long long time never sing liao....but was fun lah. Good to have a meet up with some old pals (Zann, Li Wei, Raymond, Eng Chye put aeroplane).

Was going to put my red Liverpool Banner in my car, and the Initial D Decal from the 8-Days in my car liao.....show you all some photos soon, haha....WooooHooooo

Headache!!

My head hurts, dunno why...maybe is due to my everyday coughing? Was having the headache since yesterday afternoon. And the pain was really sharp when I cough....arghhh....think maybe will have no choice to see a doctor later already.

7th June 2005

Went to Plaza Sing to watch Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith, with Lim Chia. Actually was supposed to catch the 7.30pm showtime, but by the time we got there at about 6.40pm, there was only the first 2 rows available, so we decided to watch the 9.30pm show. Had dinner, then walk around, then to the Hello Shop to view any new phones on the market, then to HMV browse on some new arrival of Music CDs (Coldplay's X&Y, Gorillaz).

After the movie ends, it's already about 12.05am! Very afraid that there's no more train service. Walked till the MRT station and was glad that the last train was still available, but is 1min from arriving. Luckily we still managed to get on to the train ;)

8th June 2005

Was surfing the VOGS Forum, trying to source for lobangs on spoiler, tint windows, front mesh grills, decal/stickers, eyelid for front-lamps. Also search up the CAI (Cold-Air-Intake) threads on some DIY stuffs.

Did contact some of the guys in the forum about the items I might get when my ride finally comes. Gotta do more window-shopping for car accessories liao....hahaha....

Coughing Saturday Late Night

Couldn't sleep well on Saturday night. Was coughing like every other seconds. And my room was quite warm, couldn't take it any longer and went into the living room, and slept on the sofa. Maybe is due to the new pillow that I bought some weeks ago that coz my head to tilt in a way the easily trigger the cough.

Although the coughing did lessen, but still was not able to sleep properly. Woke up at about 7am, had a warm bath, and fully awake! And actually, that Sunday (5 June 05) was supposed to meet Lim Chia for a movie, but I was having a slight fever and was still coughing (like) non-stop. So no choice have to msg her that we have to postpone the meet-up. Just so happened that, she was having a bad headache too. So we made another arrangement. Then I follow the NBA Conference Finals match write up online. Detroit Pistons tied the Series at 3-3! Hope that they can win their next game and proceed to the Finals against Spurs.

At about noon time, felt sleepy finally, went to bed, and slept peacefully till about 7pm. Bought dinner at about 8pm, and watched TV programs again. And watched the japanese movie about boys who are doing the syncronise swmming. Super funny, good and cute movie. Then went on to watch the French Open (Tennis) and saw this young man named Rafael Nadal, won the Men's Final at the age of 19.

Went to Bishan to meet up with some new found friends from VOGS for a basketball game. And wow, it's really been a long long time since I last touched a basketball....hmmm...5 years? I think much longer than that!

Played some 3 on 3 games and 4 on 4, but after the first 2 games, cannot continue liao...haha...took a break and went to a "ma-ma" shop buy drinks. After that, we continued to play a few more games before we call it a night. My shooting has been quite rusty and missed some easy shots, but HA! after so many years of not playing, will be sastified of my performance that night....haha....but to play against one of the tallest guy on the court, was very very tough, I think he's about 1.85 to 1.9m. Standard lah, most rebound will be in his hands.

After the game, we sat down and chatted for awhile until the lights went off at about 1015pm.

Then came saturday, cough until dunno like what, can't even sleep peacefully. And by then, my neck ache, hand ache, back ache......everywhere also ache ache.....

And this month, is our Bible Study Group's turn to do the SUM Duties during Saturday's Church Service. What a good timing! Haha...I still remembers that we even joked about "how come it's still not our turn to do the duty" in our last Bible Study. Alan (my group leader) and family will be away for the next 2 weeks, so I will be in-charge of gathering the rest of the members.

So I message all who maybe available for at least this Saturday (4 June 05), but Shirley, Daniel, Eng Chye & Yong Wee, all can't make it for Sat Service, so only left me and Winston. And I forgotten to call Samson about it. Instead, I emailed "A Request For Help" to the PUNJ, and to the "Old Man Gang". But sadly too, PUNJ had there own activities on that Sat. Lucky enough, Steven and Thomas (in Australia currently, and he said he can borrow me some kangaroo to help me) did reply me.

I arrived early on Sat afternoon about 4pm, and started to prepare the cups, making tea and coffee (the traditional way using the coffee bag). Winston came at about 4.30pm and help out in the cup washing, arranging the cups and stuffs. At about 5pm, I went up to hand out the Bibles to all who are going into the Hall for the service. Pastor Daniel Ong did helped me in getting the Bible Reading person, some to help out during the offerings. I'm glad that everything has turned out okie, although many things are organised last minute.

After the service, we continued our duties till about 8pm. Would like to thank all that had help my group & I on Saturday. May the Lord be pleased with their servanthood.

VOGS Yishun Dam Meet-up

Went on to Yishun Dam on Wednesday, 1st June 2005. For what?? Haha...to meet up with some of the members from VOGS - Vios Owners Group Singapore. Reached there at about 10pm on my dad's 2.4 Camry. Did saw alot of Vios parking on both sides of the Dam. Parked the car, walked to the nearest group and asked if they were from VOGS. That group of guys then pointed to me the other group that was infront. So I thank them and walked to the next group.

And there I am, mixing around with the guys from VOGS. Seen alot of very "Chio" Vios too, esp from FusionNos, also seen Jimmy339's "Ang Kong(4) Kong(3)". Anyway, it's nice meeting them, and they are indeed some very friendly bunch of guys. Some just dropped by, say hello, chatted awhile and left, some stayed longer till about 11plus. Also met George, who used to be a moderator in he forum. Haha...he's also a Woodlander, stayed at blk 300plus.

Anyway, today may meeting some of them too, coz thinking of going down to their weekly basketball game at Bishan. Can't even remember when is the lastt ime I touch a basketball. Hope I still can remember how to handle the ball, catch the ball, and shoot it....haha...

Where Is The Fashion Sense?

This morning while was on my MRT ride to work, saw this guy with his friend board the train, and was standing in front of where I'm seated.

He wore a cap, a black translucent shirt, black pvc pants, black boots, and a power bag (for rock climbers) hanging at the side of his pants. I don't know, but just feel that this guy is trying to be super style-lo-milo lah. Dressing like that, can look quite fashionable and cool lah, BUT all his good work was spoiled by one issue that he didn't bother to look into. I'm not a freak, but I just happened to see his "cheapo" light blue briefs sticking out of his pants where he hang the power bag. It's not just abit, but it's like revealing alot loh, don't know wanna cry or laugh. Dressed till so style-lo, but spoiled by a cheapo briefs. He knows it, yet do nothing about it. Well, that's too bad, becoming a laughing stock for everyone instead....hai~~~ (hahaha)

Still Feels Great!

It's been a little more then a week since the trip to Kuantan, Malaysia, but will still remember the fun we had in that few days. And another great feeling that hasn't left me is how Liverpool won the UEFA Champions League.

Met with Jimmy, Ting and Raymond over at Claudia's place during last Saturday. Was supposed to finished up on the VCDs they had bought during the Kuantan trip. And because I want to watch the Star Wars Movie in the cinema, I didn't bring that with me....hahaha....and we couldn't get to Rizal, we came to Claudia's house empty handed (Except Raymond, who just bought an old war VCD movie, The Hambugerhill). Ended up watching Vanilla Sky which stars Tom Curise. After that we tried to watch the VCD Raymond bought, The Hambugerhill. It's about the Vietnam War. But it was so slow and boring that we changed and watch "Home Run", literally as "Run Ba, Children". Not bad, good acting from the kids, esp the little sister, and that funny small size kid, and the dead "alive" fat pig. We stayed till about 3am then went back home.

Regarding Liverpool's majestic win, it will be very sad to not see them defend the cup they won so dramatically. But the hope of them defending the cup has grown day by day, with the G14 backing, so does the UEFA President, lets hope that their meeting in June will be another great news for Liverpool. May The Force Be With Them ....heehee

I thought I was still in dreamland when I checked the soccer results thru the interest after I got out of my comfort bed.

Reds Land Famous Win

Was so happy seeing the main headline. That was really really an amazing result. To think of it, Liverpool was already 0-1 down after the 1st minute of the game by a volley from Paolo Maldini. And by half-time, it's already 0-3, where Hernan Crespo strike twice, to create a giantic cushion. The superb solid defence was torn into pieces by the Milan team by half-time.

But Rafael Benitez had other ideas, and made changes to the line-up in the second half. And what magic he had done? In a space of 6 minutes, Liverpool are back in the game to tie the score at 3-3. Read agian, down from 0-3, to tie the score at 3-3 in a space of 6 minutes! What a come-back! Many who watch this game "live" had already gone to sleep by half-time and think that Liverpool's hope was gone, dead and buried.

Confidence grew for Liverpool, and they played with the hope that they might just be able to win this match. And they eventually hold their ground, thanks to great saves from Jerzy Dudek. Came the extra-time, and Dudek was in superb form to keep out any shots that were aimed towards his goal. And again, he proved himself worthy by saving not one, but two penalties, and helped Liverpool lift the European Cup for the 5th time in their history, and 20 years since the last glory triumph.

And becoz it's the fifth time Liverpool has won this Cup, they got to keep this cup which Steven Gerrard held proudly. I'm sure this match will go down in history as one of the most dramatic, amazing match ever.

Well done! We Liverpool Fans are very proud of the amazing moment.

Parry believes tonight's win increases the club's chances of defending their trophy, even though they finished outside the top four in the Barclays Premiership.
He added: 'Look at the support tonight, the worldwide audience and the game.

Kuantan Road Trip - 20th to 23rd May 2005

Road Trip To Kuantan, Malaysia. (Super super long post)

Wow man, this was one of the best ever holiday trip in my whole entire life, and I spent only about close to $200SD. But I guess I will have to fork out another $800, maybe, for a new digital camera *sob* *sob*

On the 20th May, Night.
I got the msg from Jimmy that I’m supposed to meet him at his place at about 9pm. So after finishing my work at about 7pm, headed back home to pack my stuffs and bath. Was kinda “late” as I left my house at about 9.30pm. When I’m reaching Jimmy’s block, I msg him again. He replied by calling me and asked,” Where are you now?”

“Very near to your block now, why? Meeting under your block right?” I replied

“Didn’t Raymond inform you that the timing had been changed to 10pm?” Jimmy said in a surprised tone.

Oh man! The trip has not even started yet and this kind of spot already surfaced! Hahaha….nevermind that, so I just went up to Jimmy’s place first.

Then at about 10pm, Jimmy and I went to the bus-stop opposite Marsiling MRT to meet up with 2 other friends who are going with us on this road trip, Rizal & Claudia. And then we proceed to the Causeway Custom to meet up with Raymond & Ting Ting (the joker of this trip). But Rizal was afraid that the rental car owner was asleep as he didn’t pick up Rizal’s call, so Rizal, Claudia and Jimmy proceed first into Malaysia while I wait for Raymond and Ting to come.

The processing thru the custom immigration was not so bad, except for one person, Claudia, as she’s Austrian. So Rizal, Jimmy and Ting headed to collect the rented car first. It’s about after an hour that Raymond and I saw Claudia walking pass the counter and towards us. An HOUR! Hahaha….after that we went to Ta Man to have our dinner.

And so, after the full dinner, bought some VCDs, bottled mineral waters and some sweet, we proceed on with our journey to Kuantan. I brought along my collection of CDs too. But this Nissan Serena, “superb”, no words to describe it….haha…The CD/VCD player was so lousy that 60% of my CDs (all are originals) cannot be played. And the VCDs, worst, some can play the first disc but not the second. Com’on lets give a clap for the player.

Maybe partly due to the “heavy weight” of the 6 of us, this Nissan Serena seems like a car with low power & torque. Imagine that you have to floor the accelerator paddle in order to visibly see the changes of the speed in order to over take a slower car. And the max speed it can go is I think 135km/h. And make it worst is that, we were overtaken by an… … oil tanker!!! That tanker is one hell of a driver! Speeding away in at least a 110km/h to 120km/h. How did he do that????

Rizal was the driver for the night, and I’m the VCom, and supposed to take over from him about 100km before reaching Kuantan. But as he had the momentum, he carried on, we have to keep the music going, and I will have to talk to him, keep in conversation to keep him awake thru-out the whole drive to Kuantan. After much much struggling, chewing the gums and chatting, we finally reached Kuantan Beach at about 7am. There’s a MacDonald’s Outlet there, Kuantan Hyatt, some seafood “restoran”, some shops, pubs, and budget hotels.

We walked around the Kuantan beach and took a lot of photos. We took photos of the sunrise, monkeys in super close-up-view. And then some of us became “monkeys” too, by climbing along rocks to get off-shore and took photos of it.

We walk walk till about 8am, then went to MacDonald’s to have our breakfast. After breakfast, we start our beach hopping adventure. We went to about 3 other beaches around the area, Balok Beach, Teluk Chempedak & Cherating Beach. Not too sure which description is for which beach, but some are nice, some is not.

One of the beach we went to, saw some kids playing by a little “stream” and has a very special looking crab. The eyes of the crab is quite different. Normally the eyes are rounded at the tip, but this, is pointed. Took some photos of it. And the movement of the crab is very cute…haha…Saw some small sea shells, and Raymond was collecting it for “someone”, but none was really that nice and big, and in the end, none was really collected. We moved around the area to find a nice guest room/hotel, but either they are full or the rooms are not up to our expectation. So we move on to another beach.

The beach where we had our lunch as cool. Saw quite a number of groups flying their kites. Some of the kites are special made so that the kite flyers can do many different stunts with the kite. But I accidentally dropped my digital camera on the ground! I thought nothing of it and place it back in my waist pouch. After the tasty lunch, we carried on our beach/hotel hunting.

We went to one beach, I think is the Balok Beach? And then we went to check out the beach before we decide to stay in the budget hotel. From afar, the beach looked quite nice, but when we walk closer….wah….cannot make it. The sand was dark in color and was not a really pleasing sight. And when we check out the room, the condition was bad, and the electric supply was not ready yet.

I think we did visited some more beaches, one is very near to the Club Med, and turtle viewing beach. But in the end, we decided to head back to Kuantan beach and stay the night there in a budget hotel instead of the Kuantan Hyatt. We stayed at this Hotel T.C which was a short distant from the Mac and the beach.

It was then, when I wanted to view on the photos that I had taken, that I found out that the camera was faulty as it cannot read on my memory card. I felt that that was it, the same thing happened again when I was at the Motorshow in Suntec last year. Indeed, ALL the photos I had taken earlier are all gone! Gone! Gone! So sad, so moody (That’s why there’s no photos of what had been said earlier until the rest had sent me those photos of me in their cameras…haha).

We changed to our swimming gear, and headed for the beach for a swim and a fun time. We had some “water fights” in the sea, between Rizal/Raymond & Jimmy/Ting. Was damn funny, and laughs a lot. Jimmy/Ting combination was always on the losing side, as on many occasion, round one hasn’t even started yet, and they fell into the water. Later, we managed to borrow a beach volleyball from a group, and started on a 2-on-2 game. Raymond was my teammate while Rizal & Jimmy was our opponent. The first set was won my Raymond & I easily (coz Raymond always target his serve at jimmy). And the losing team has to do 20 push-ups. The 2nd set was tougher for us, and my team was always trailing, and still we gave a good fight before losing 13-15, and yup, 20 push-ups.

We had also seen some quite special moments. As the sunset was looming, the sun was hidden behind some clouds, and colorful rays was emitted. Very nice. I also took one photo with my SE T610 and MMS to Lim Chia…heehee…and that photo is now my SE T610’s screensaver.

And there’s something with Rizal….hahaha…he always said he wanted to see the sunrise again, coz we missed it that day as when we reached….the sun was already out. But every time he wanted to say sunrise, he will say “sunset” instead. That happened at least 4 times, and we all had a good laugh at it.

We had dinner at one of the seafood “restoran” and then had desert at Mac. We started to share and talk, chilling out with our sundaes and shake. That was a good and enjoyable chilling out session, where we talked about anything under the sun, and Rizal said that he wanted to watch the “sunset” again. Everyone just burst into laughter. And we also targeted at Ting, coz she basically was just doing nothing during the whole trip so far, as, if she’s not sleeping, she’s eating; and if she’s not eating, she’s sleeping. We also talked about how life in SG are so stressed. Be it work stress, children stress. Rizal shared some of his own personal experience where one of his relative committed suicide because of study stress given by the parents. Also talk about cars, etc etc.

After that, we walked around the area, bought a packet of really “old school” stuffs. How many of you all still remembers the pop-pop? Some white color thing which you throw on the ground and “pop” sound was heard with some sparks? Haha…yah, we had some fun with that too, it was such a long time since we last played those things.

After that, we went to the town area to grab some light supper before heading back to out rooms. All of us wanted to watch the “sunset” in the morning.

But guess what time did most of us woke? Haha…its 1230pm. Claudia did woke at about 6plus in the morning. And I did heard her knocking on our door to wake us, but I guess I’m too lazy to get up (Sorry Claudia, yup, I should have told you that we wanted to sleep, instead of letting you, standing on the door and kept knocking on the door).

And have to thanks Claudia again for waking us up at 1230pm. We were supposed to check-out at 1230pm! But Jimmy went and settled the bill, and we get ready our stuffs and proceed on with our next journey. We had our lunch and saw this cute poster which features the characters, in cartoon, from the movie, Lord Of The Rings.

Then continued on our way to our next target, Lake Chini. We reached the boat station which have boats for us to take to Lake Chini. We took some nice photos before we parked our car, and got ready all our belongings, and heading to the shore. What was infront of us was quite a beautiful sight. And the shore was very nice too. We had 2 boats to take us to Lake Chini, and that experience was really good. Bringing back the old kampong days. Nice sea, nice scenery. We finally got to “Kg. Gumum Tasik Chini”. Rizal got a contact from surfing in the net about places to visit around Kuantan. And he got this information that there is a Rajan Jone’s Guest House, which is cheap, RM19.50.

We have to walk about maybe 400meters before we reached the house of Mr. Rajan Jones. And finally saw him face to face. He’s about close to 60years old, and speaks good English. He showed us the rooms. The Guesthouse is just beside his house. The rooms are in good condition, with bed on the floor, mosquito net, and a standing fan. The toilets/bath rooms are also in good condition, with modern toilet flush and shower head. Infront of our rooms is a sheltered area where there are tables and chairs where we can sit down and rest/chat. What’s best is that, there are no mosquitoes! Yeah!

We changed to our swimming gear again, and we all squeezed inside Mr. Rajan Jones car. Hee…..Jimmy and Rizal had the privilege to sit in the car boot….hahaha…

We went out to the jetty, and saw some village kids swimming there. They are very cute, shy, and playful. We had a little swim in the lake, photo taking, and playing with the kids. After that, at about 7pm we went to the dinning hut to have our dinner. Mr. Rajan Jones told us frankly that he was alittle surprised that we shown up at his place, as usually, people will email him for accommodations. He also apologized to us that there are lack of dishes for the dinner. We did not demand much, as long as the dinner can fill our stomach. When the dinner was served, there are 3 dishes, eggs, vege, and some curry with vege. Yummy, they all tasted so good that I had 3 servings of rice!

Mr. Rajan Jones prepared a program for us after that. That program was to show us how to make fire without match sticks and lighters. (Thanks Claudia for asking that all important question of, "How do you light the candles and do the cooking? Is this the way you light them??"). There are actually a lot of different ways to make a fire, but what Mr. Jones showed was very unique. He has a special tool to make the fire, but he also needs some special materials too. The two special materials are taken from 2 types of plants. One is from the tree barks and the other from a type of palm trees. It is really amazing to see how he started the fire.

Then Mr. Rajan Jones explained further about this place, the legend of the lake. Then he also asked us if we want any night programs and what other programs we want for the next day. Initially, we wanted a night walk into the jungle, which can take about 5hrs. But due to our surprised appearance here, Mr. Jones has to search for guides for us. He also told us that in recent weeks, there is some kind of animal moving in the forest that can be quite alarming. It’s called the “Dragon Snake”. Was told by Mr. Jones that this “Dragon Snake” is much bigger then the anaconda. It’s about 10meters in length and about 70cm in diameter. It was told that one of his dog was eaten by this “Dragon Snake” and some of the villages did seen it moving from places to places. But Mr. Jones still assures us that it will still be alright to go for the night walk. But, haha, I don’t think anyone of us will still wanna do that after hearing what Mr. Jones had just said.

And we also intended to trek down to the waterfall, which was told to be very beautiful. It’s about 1 and half hours ride plus trekking to the waterfall. But the thing is, we have to leave Lake Chini by 11am as the boatmen will be by the jetty to fetch us back to the boat station. So the waterfall was again out of the plan, and finally decided to have canoeing in the morning. I guess the canoeing in Malaysia was slightly different from what we have in Singapore. Mr. Jones does have a few sampans, but the conditions are not good, so he does not recommend us to use it. Instead, he offered us a small boat. It’s made of glass fiber, and looked more like a motorized boat without the motor. The trouble is, we have to carry it to the lake, but all the 6 of us can paddle together.

We headed back to the Guesthouse at about 10pm, and along the way, we saw a provision shop, and bought 2 bottles of cold Coke and some tibits. We chatted and first, listen to my ring tones for the entertainment of the night. Then Ting took out her HP and played her mp3 songs from it. We also chatted and had lots of laughs. And the Joker of this trip, Ting, was at it again. Maybe because she was always sleeping (did I wrote that when ever she’s not sleeping, she will be eating. And when not eating, she will be sleeping?) her mind was also half-asleep. As Raymond was going to Australia next month, Ting wanted Raymond to buy some stuffs for her. (Listen/read carefully….these is the words spoken by her)…..”I want Blacksilver jacket, those got fur fur ones”. Then we all go like, “Huh? What Blacksilver? Wow, new brand in the market?” And she actually wanted a Quikesilver jacket. This is not the end, and then she said that she wanted the boxy boardshorts. Raymond and I knew that she had said the wrong words, so Raymond asked her again,” Boxy?” and Ting quickly corrected it by saying, foxy. At that moment, I think the rest of us laugh till tears come out and stomach aching. It’s Roxy, not boxy or foxy! And she actually said it wrong twice. She is quite good at saying things we couldn’t understands, the result of sleepy-brain.

We all agreed to call it a night at about 1am or so, and planned to get up at about 7am the next day for the “canoeing”. And just so happened that Raymond & I didn’t checked the fan in our room when we took over the room, only to realize it then. But thanks to Rizal, he told us that we can take the fan in his room. So we got the cold cold night as Raymond had blasted the fan at full speed directly on the bed where we were sleeping. In the middle of the night, it was so cold that he himself got up and reduced the speed and turned the fan to blow against the wall instead of directly on us.

Early next morning, as the same, Claudia was the “alarm clock” for us, and we all got up, and getting ready for the “canoeing”. Then I was talking to Rizal and comment that actually we do not need the fan, as it was so cold at night. Rizal just stared at me, and then gave me the international finger sign. Then Claudia said that it was very stuffy without the fan, and was so warm.

Was about to leave for the canoeing when Rizal realized that his sunglass was no where in his sight. So we decided to check on the place we had dinner.

At about 8am, we got hold of the paddles and the boat. All of us carried the boat till the drop off point, then Raymond and I was to push the boat out thru some muddy shallow pond, out to the jetty where the rest will be waiting. Wow, I think we made the wrong choice to have canoeing. This seems more like a morning workout exercise for us. Raymond and I had so much trouble just to push the boat for 1 meter. And the mud was so soft that every step we took, our legs will sink in till about the knee level. We kept on pushing and pushing. Then suddenly, Raymond fell down into the shallow lake. His feet had stepped onto a sharp item inside the mud. “Felt like stepping on a long nail” was what he told me. Blood was rushing out from his right feet. He was still in pain, but we finally managed to get the boat out to the deep end, and paddled to the jetty, where the rest were waiting.

So everyone except Rizal, who still did not give up in finding back his sunglass, went around the whole village to search for it, board the boat, and start to paddle out into the sea. After about 30mins of paddling, we managed to reach another jetty. We got up to the jetty and rested for awhile. And that’s when Raymond complained that he was really feeling very giddy, maybe from the sudden lost of blood. So we let him rest for a while, lying on his back and lifted his leg. After about 5mins, we decided to paddle back. And this time, it only took us 15mins to paddle back, but still had a tough time carrying and pushing the boat backed up to the storage area for the boat. By that time, it’s already close to 11am.

Rizal tried to call the boatman to come to fetch us later as we still have to clean ourselves and to pack everything, but he couldn’t get any reception from his mobile phone. Raymond and I stayed behind at the dinning house to wait for Mr. Rajan Jones, so that he can fetch us back with his car. After some waiting, Mr. Rajan Jones came, with Rizal. And the boatman arrived too, so Rizal talked to the boatman to wait for us.

By the time we got really and finished our lunch at the dinning house, it’s already about 12plus. We all thanked Mr. Rajan Jones and his wife for the superb services, hospitality, and meals that was prepared for us. I’m sure we will be back here some other day, as we only now know (from Mr. Rajan Jones) that actually we can drive to the village by land, no need by boat!

We waved goodbye to the couple the last time and made our way to the boat. The weather was really very hot! And I think I had slight sunburn. Backed to out rented car, it was so hot that Jimmy’s bottle shampoo (which he forgot to bring with him, was lying on the dashboard) had “melted” and the shape had changed.

I drove all the way till Segamat, where we had our lunch/dinner, and then on our way back to Johore. Along the way, we finally found a roadside store selling durians. We bought 3 and ate them on the spot. Satisfied, we moved on.

Finally backed to Johore, the jam as expected. So we took the chance to shop at City Square while Rizal and Jimmy (going to collect back the RM100 deposit for the car we rented on our Cameron trip) drove back to return the rented car. We did some shopping at F.O.S. where we seen Raymond spend his money like water, and that he was so energetic that he was shopping non-stop, walking here and there (what happened to the pain of his feet???...hmmmm). Then later, Rizal and Jimmy joined us after return the car and “collected” the deposit.

I was wondering why Jimmy was smiling at me and saying,”Eh, last time the car we drove to Cameron, can speed very fast hor?”

I know something was wrong. And he said that the car was caught on camera for speeding, and I’m the one driving it. The road that we were caught was just before we reached the bottom of Cameron Highland, so it will have to be me, who was driving at that moment….hahaha….so Jimmy ended up have to pay another RM50 instead of collecting back the RM100 deposit.

We finally cleared the Singapore custom at about 11plus at night. Gone back home straight after, had a quick bath, dried my hair, and slept like a pig till the next morning.

Road Trip Tonight?

Hmm...might be going on a road trip to malaysia again tonight. Just know of this plan yesterday from Jimmy. This time he's getting more people so that can rent a MVP and drove to kuantan or some beaches and relax. Still dunno much of the final plan, but will be a trip to just relax.

But I'm still not so sure if I can go for this trip anot, as I still will be working on Saturday. So I have to ask my Project Manager to see if I can take half-day tomorrow. Coz they will move off tonight at 9pm.

Another factor that might stop me from this trip is $$$. Hahaha...coz I think I over spent this month again!!!!! Still have 7 more days to go before I will get my pay. Must think of something to cut down on my spending. Maybe have to stop renting cars before I get my black ride. Coz to rent a car each time means about $200 gone, so if rent twice, will be $400 liao.

Gotta have more self-discipline already, felt that I had becoming more and more and more lazy each passing day!

Weekly Update?

It's been almost a week since I last posted an article up here, and weeks since I last posted the weekly Bible Study. How come no one remind me!!?? hahaha.....

To me, it seems like the week has passed by so quickly that I don't have "time" to do any updates. I seems to be more and more lazy these few weeks, that's why. Lazy at work, lazy at home....so jia lat *shake head*

Can't even remember what I have done the last week...haha...getting old?? Must be! Attended my uncle's birthday dinner on the 14th. It's also been a very long time since I meet up with this uncle, and relatives from my mother's side. But at least I'm closer to these relatives then to those from my father's side...*jia lat also* So good to see them, and bring back old memories. Seen my younger nieces all grown up, seen my childhood playmates married and had childrens!! It was quite a joyuful event where everyone had smiles on their faces and chatted, greeting each other, seen the childrens playing around the room.

And so, finally, the final saga of the Star Wars is here: Revenge of the Sith. This will be the final Star Wars movie made. Die die also will go catch that movie. Too bad my movie buddy is in US, but I think she will go watch with Geoff instead...haha...btw, Geoff is her BF, bet he's missing her day and night for weeks already. Will be jio-ing a few friends to watch the movie. But dunno if Ray, Jim & Ting ting will be so eager and watch it before I even asked them!

Anyway, now is midway thru the month of May already, coming June, I think will be quite an enjoyable month (hope so). Why? Coz there will be a mega meetup from the VOGS (Vios Owner Group Singapore), will be going down for the meet up also, to make more friends over there. Then can have better knowledge of the car, what to mod and find lobangs for mod. No regret joining this group...haha...

Yeah....looking forward to it.

What The World Has Become - Part 2

I really really can't believe what I'm reading. I was reading The New Paper, 7th May Saturday issue. I was totally stunned when I turned to page 12. It reads:

"There is space for everyone"
"Sexuality should not be an issue when worshipping God, says this fringe church that accepts gays"

I tried not be so judgmental, so I continue to read if the report is stating that this church accepts gays and lesbians to worship God, so that they can hear and know the truth about God's word and changed to the way God has intended. So I read on......

But when I read to the 2nd paragraph, I guess my initial thought was correct:
"It is a bible study group that is part of the Free Community Church (FCC), which does not regard homosexuality as a Sin, unlike the mainstream churches here."

I cannot help but urge you to read Genesis Chapter 19. If homosexuality is not a sin, this account of Sodom and Gomorrah being destroyed might not have even happened.

But one of the leaders in the church did say that, "That's why we started FCC--for people to learn more about God."

But guess what? The leaders themselves are gays, so what does that mean? Worst is what I read on the next page! A women, one of the vice-chariman of FCC, a mother of 3, who is not a lesbian, does not even mind if her children become gay. And I think what she had said can really stumble alot of Christians around:
"I was educated in the US. And my father was a Methodist pastor. He always told us to think for ourselves, not to accept church teachings blindly and to think through our faith."

Yes I can agreed on that we should not accept church teachings blindly. We should always refer back to the Holy Bible, to check against the teachings, if it's according to what God said. When something that you are unsure of, Talk to the pastor, church elders, bible study leaders, or even read up on books that of complimentary of the OT and NT.

This is my believe. I believe that God has created Man (Adams) and then Women (Eve), to be a companion to Man (Adams) -- Genesis -- And Man (Adams) and Women (Eve) will be united as one (Married) and reproduce for the generations to come. And I think that is very clear of God's intention.

But of course, as Christians, we shall not distance away from gays and lesbians if we happened to meet them. We can still be as a friend to them, and share the true gospel to them. We then will have to pray for them, so that their hearts maybe opened and let Christ took over.

Of course everyone sins, and are descendents of Adams and Eve, unless you have personally believed in Christ and received Christ to be the Shepherd and Overseer of our souls, so that you will be "reborn" again, to be freed from sin, and not free to sin. So if we know that what we are going to do is a sin, then don't do it. Yes, it's very hard, true, no doubt, even pastors, church leader do struggle against sins. But we have to try to be improving ourselves to be Christ-likeness. If 10yrs ago, you are at this certain state, and 10yrs later, nothing has changed in you, brother and sisters, it's about time to do some reflecting on what has past during the 10yrs of time.

Anyway, enough has been said.

Neo from the Matrix?? no no, this time, it's said by someone who is very much alive in this world, and is very popular in the English soccer. He's none other then the self proclaimed "The One" Jose Mourinho. Hahaha....just too hard not to talk about this guy when you are a soccer-mainc, as his news will be on the news stand almost very week.

But I think, personally, he might not be just the correct role model for anyone to admire. I'm not trying to be judgmental but there will be some issues that has been very disappointing to me...haha....

When he came to the EPL to take charge of the Chelsea FC, I clearly remembered and seen the news report that, he fears no one, but the only thing he feared, is God! I think he said that maybe partly because that he had just won the UCL with Porto FC and now with Chelsea FC, which the EPL standard is much much higher with much tougher opponents, and if he could settle into the EPL. His determination is high, he want to do great things with his ability. Yes, we all had seen what he can do, both good and bad.

Now, he is always in the news for the "wrong" thing. And his behavior can be consider quite arrogant. He is one who just could not accept failure. For example, the match against Barcelona, and since then, all attention was on him, "accused" of damaging football. But maybe a more corrective word should be used there.

What ever it is, I think that's about life in this world, just leave you with this quote of the day:

'It's unbelievable he hasn't got the brain to learn from his mistake last time,'

Liverpool Vs AC Milan

Yup, it's a dream final for Liverpool FC and their fans all around the world. It's an overdue wait for this day, 25th May 2005, to come in Istanbul. And their opponent, AC Milan of Italy.

Since young, I have been supporting many clubs throughout the world. Like for in Holland, my fav club is Ajax, Italy will be AC Milan, Spain will be Real Madrid, but the club in my heart will always be LIVERPOOL. Has been following them I think around the 1980s, and if I'm correct, they did came to Singapore, together with Arsenal, to play for the Friendly Cup Match. And I think that's when I began to follow closely on the team.

Zoom back now to 2005, my heart will still be LIVERPOOL's, although they had gone thru many years of under-achieving in the EPL, I will still not abandon them. And I have to say that in my point of view, the great team of Liverpool was "destoryed" when Graeme Souness took over as the Manager back then.

So, to the main topic. Heard from the morning news again, that AC Milan will meet Liverpool in the final. And that Milan only just managed to scraped thru on the away-goal rule. And this is the first time in 7-games that they have conceded goals. Sometimes I just don't understand some clubs, they can beat any top-notch big clubs in the world, and yet can lose to some minor clubs! And I think that might be of the case of AC Milan at some point of the season so far. I'm not saying PSV is just a small club, they are the Champion of the Dutch League. Just that the standard of the Dutch League is somehow still not up tot he standard of the Spainish, English, Italian League.

But Milan's lost to PSV this early morning, has really given me hopes and belief that Liverpool can win it, and bring the Cup home. Be it that even if they did not finished 4th, and the UEFA does not allow the defending Champion to qualify for next year's league, winning the Cup is the all important issue in the players, fans mind now. Once Liverpool wins the Cup, they will be proud to say that they are starting to bringing back to good old glory days of Anfield. And Jose Mourinho, will be secretly crying out loud like a baby in his "The One" hiding place.
